Well...i've already used up all 4 of my IDE drives (2x250GB, 1x80GB, 1xDVD-RW) so..i guess there's no more room for additional IDE drives.. smile.gif

PROS:
- nice acrylic colour
- good cuttings

CONS:
- switch is totally off
- wires are meant to be at the back not sides
- wiring too messy (inside)
- no expansion options

Plain

not too bad for a 1st mod, its kinda messy, as in the wires, and there is no possibility of expansion.

Yeah, i found that out the hard way when i wanted to change my DVD drive. but since i built it i knew where i had to rip out first.haha. Haven't had time to rewire the inside yet..actually..there is no power switch yet..just connecting 2 exposed ends to turn on the rig.can't find a nice on/off switch yet. Any ideas anyone? super plain huh...was wondering how to make it more exciting? "si fu" out there pls guide me!!

That's really nice man. I've actually been thinking of doing an acrylic case but the thought of all that acrylic shavings full of static sticking all over the place while cutting really turned me off. Anyway, nice case man.

I like the colour theme. Feels like sun-setting. Anyway thumbs up from me although there is still room for improvements.

it's a 14"x14" cube.thought it was kinda big too at first too but somehow got used to it. lotsa space to add extra stuff in it(especially mutha f***a huge northbridge and cpu coolers).the coolers for the drives are actually underneath the casing. 2x80 cm fans underneath it (it's 1 inch raised off the floor) sucking out air and 2x80cm fans at the top also sucking out air.PSU has a double fan to help in the ventilation too.the Cold cathode i made it myself actually, which explains the dual colour. i took the cold cathode and inverter out of one oy my old scanners and fitted it inside, the other was one of the broken Cold cathode my friend had . also added a switch at one of the pci slots to gimme the option to switch off the lights, so no prob it being too bright at night. my friend has a dremel which i might try to etch some patterns in it. yeah, when cutting the acrylics the shavings was all over my hands and legs sticking everywhere! and i had a whole lot of acrylics to cut. i did the whole thing with a Bosch elecric saw and a B&D Drill and lotsa chloroform. must get a dremel.................thanks guys for the comments!!
