hi..
got my galaxy s3 on last sunday.. everything good accept the backover on the left side are not tight.. today go back to the shop. he said cannot help and suggest buy new back cover for rm80. when put the new back cover still have a tiny opening on the conner of the left side..
then he suggest go to samsung centre lowyat for claim.. when i go there the customer centre said the problem are not covered warranty.. but she offered to check the phone by leaving the phone for one week..
i'm affraid if i send my phone when the phone come back it will be worst (screen scratch) plus i just bought it.. at the end i didn't send it to check.. the problem cause my phone cannot insert properly a case i bought because of the left side is slightly thicker..
what are you guys suggestion? send it to repair or accept this condition..
First of all..you should check your phone first when you still at the shop. After you really really satisfied with it then only you pay and bring it home.
Reason for all these - once you out from the shop then it really difficult to argue or getting a 1 to 1 exchange for any defect found unless you make a really really BIG noise to them.
The same situation at service centre. Over there they only do servicing and not any 1 to 1 exchange.
Regards you problem..you can either live with it (problem not solve) or leave your phone at service centre where i think your phone will be open and then put everything back. Sometime it's because of tiny things like screw. If you really lucky they might change the whole casing for you.
Try ask the technician at the service centre whether they guarantee that your back cover can be closed properly if you agree to leave your phone for repair.
~~good luck to you~~
