QUOTE(nicregi @ Sep 18 2012, 09:19 PM) Guys, I got 2 questions: Huh? Do u mean settings>backup&reset>factory reset? 1. Once rooted your phone and change kernel only, do you still receive official update if you get JB? 2. For those who rooted their phone, what kernel do you use? Siyah macam long time no update for ICS part. Now I am currently using Phenomenal. Any others I should look at? Added on September 18, 2012, 9:20 pm Setting > Wipe. If you don't think format memory, it won't format it. I read somewhere said this will only fully wipe ur internal memory once wor... |

QUOTE(nicregi @ Sep 18 2012, 09:38 PM) Nope. Wipe using setting there will not wipe your internal sd if you did not think format internal memory. If you think format internal memory, then yes it will format. I thought wipe=format? QUOTE(waveweaver @ Sep 18 2012, 09:46 PM) Factory reset using your phone setting will wipe clean your phone internal storage. I see... Then why we still need to type the code in dial pad if this method already can wipe internal memory? If you do wipe data/factory reset via CWM..the very FIRST time you do it will wipe clean your internal storage. The second time wont wipe your internal storage anymore. |

QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Sep 18 2012, 11:36 PM) not delete all files don't worry So u mean all my photos and music will be safe even though I didn't unmount? I hope u didn't misunderstand me when I said unmount. Unmount to me means go settings then go storage then choose unmount sd cardfor my case is it will delete the game data that I use directory bind move to micro sd *the game data I means is the big game data, like asphalt 7 need to download a big game data size I move it to micro sd using directory bind just unmount micro sd before wipe using dialer |
