QUOTE(alexsupreme @ Oct 18 2012, 07:22 PM) MSI GX60 - Radeon 7970m 1300$I found more on newegg but all of them are way above the 1.3k mark. GX60@$1.3k.. interesting. Still can't find any review about it, i wonder how much that A10 will cripple the mighty 7970M. Added on October 18, 2012, 8:49 pmnvm found it. MSI GX60 Review | Feat: AMD Trinity Technologyaccording from NBR forum, the apu bottleneck gaming performance quite huge on some games.. bringing it down to the level of GT675M. QUOTE(Proclaimer @ Nov 21 2012, 05:22 PM) Why not legit? COD is available. because in previous page a guy posted Lenovo Malaysia haven't bring in this model ma and the seller claimed this is Malaysia model. QUOTE 100% Genuine From Lenovo Malaysia. QUOTE(destroyer @ Nov 21 2012, 02:00 PM) chat with lenovo malaysia on FB. they don't have any information regarding the availability of this model in malaysia YET. however they do mention that some reseller already imported the item from overseas thus making it available on local market. more waiting time for me i guess... damn it lenovo. at least release it to the pc magazine/online for people to review it first. the feeling of waiting is like able to watch waifu but unable to touch her for 6month.

IMO, better not to run both Prime95 and Furmark simultaneously. You're killing the machine. Just run Furmark, it will utilize 1 CPU core to resemble real world gaming.

QUOTE(BAlm @ Dec 8 2012, 08:50 PM) @@ 4.3k only.... For 600 more i get a better gfx(at least single), 8gb ram, 750gb hdd and DVDRW. Get 2yrs msi warranty n free 1yr insurance warranty. Cpu is bad i agree, but i got no problem treat it as support AMD business so they dun close shop 4.3k is pretty good.. i thought it will cost around 5k here. you can force the proc to use and stay on turbomode more often.

QUOTE(Unseen83 @ Apr 21 2013, 06:38 PM) well i purchase Asus G75vx... my spec is on my signature... and my friend bought Msi GX60... i compare with him... real life gaming... he beat ...sorry his GX60 beat my Asus G75vx... No joke... Stop listen to other ppl talk about Amd Cpu been botlleneck.. not true... well is base on my experience... i dont use Msi GX60, i use G75vx... my g75vx beat y400/y500 soo... choice is base on my opinion,,, What game u comparing it with? CPU bounded game like SC2, Skyrim, etcs will certainly bottleneck that HD7970M. But a bottleneck HD7970M is still better than a GTX60M imo.

I thought GX60 was around RM4.5k? Price dropped that much?
Oh ya, for anyone that getting GX60, probably best to wait for its AMD A10-5750M refresh.

Does touch screen useful? seems cool The Z400 is slightly slower in term of CPU and GPU power but you will appreciate that touch screen when using Window 8 imo, just be extra careful with the screen hinge.

^ +1 benchmarking at low res and low detail is simply asking for a quick CPU bottleneck.
And if i recall correctly, Trinity TurboCore function is kinda broken which only stay for a sec or less, you need to use K-Stat to lock so it will stay on Turbo frequency much longer.
