Lenovo Y series do not support Raid 0 configuration.
The m-sata SSD only works as cache with a HDD.

It works just like a hybrid HDD.
The most recent programs will have faster start up time and responses as the m-sata SSD saves the cache of it.

I guess any m-sata SSD will do.
Well, why don't just get a larger capacity m-sata SSD, transfer the OS and software into it instead of use it as a cache SSD?

Nope, m-sata SSD could be used like a normal SSD too.
