dropbox has been around for quite some time - about 2 year. I think it should be the most likely to survive among all the competititors since it now has a broader user base after teaming up with Samsung & HTC.

I am not interested in his daughter lah. i got 2 sons myself but they are only pre-school kids. I am just thinking that giving a Note II to a child is a bit too pampering but of course it depends on his/her age.

Just swap out my DiGi sim for the Maxis sim card - immediately did a Speedtest - 2-4mbps in my office. I am a happy man.

Just waiting patiently for Note II from Maxis now.

coz most android phones like the Samsung Note II come with external microSD slot. It is much cheaper to just slot in a 64GB microSD card. And you can take the same 64GB card to your next android phones - no need to reload your media all over again.

yes, like RaveAramashi mentioned - you will not be able to get the MNP in time to get the phone, especially for Maxis and DiGi. They will not reserve any phone for you coz first come first serve. By the time your MNP completed in 2-3 days, the offer already ended or even if the offer still on - no more stock. Some places other than KL are allocated very limited units for offer, mostly kena sapu on day 1.

I already arranged for my MNP on Tuesday and get it activated on Maxis today. The actual process is quite fast, less than 24 hours for me. Becoz of Maxis Centre in JB not submitted my porting form, caused the delay. I call to check the status yesterday and found out this mistake, they immediately rectified it and sent the request to DiGi yesterday afternoon. By today just after lunch, my Maxis line is activated, porting is successful.

Just received my Nillkin Case & SP for Note II from tskhor today. Nice texture on the back of the casing. Will use it for few months until the SGP leather flip casing is available.

EDIT - tested to hold the casing in hand to gauge the Note II size. It is more comfortable to hold by 1 hand.

haha.. no problem. This kind of hard case is definitely better than those rubber/silicone cases which are thicker and tends to stick inside your pocket. Normally i will get one of this for temporary use until a better casing is available.

i wish i could but i have not yet got the Note II. Bought this case ahead of the Note II.

accident dun choose small or larger device. A accidental knock by a passby may cause you a great regret. Snatch thieves will pry on you too.

but based on past records, they always release new phone on weekday - either Thursday or Friday. Since next week Samsung official launch event is on Thursday evening, i think Friday might be the highest likely launch date for the celcos.

but if you are in KL, shouldn't have any problem to get one during the weekend following the launch. Only those out of KL like JB will be allocated very limited units that will run out of stock on end of day 1.

if you are signing up a contract, they will sure give you a new micro SIM F.O.C. Got one free replacement for my wife's S3 previously.
