graphics wise its pretty enough, they just need to toned down things to get constant buttery smooth 60fps to not compromise the games fluidity.
smooth and constant 60fps can contribute to smooth gameplay.

sounds also related to gameplay and does take away the realism. the gear shifting on GT games are always immediate without any mechanical grind feeling. the sound is similar to driving a automatic transmission daily car. i hope better sounds for gearbox and engine with chassis noise.
launch of Assetto corsa on ps4 is approaching maybe you can try that first tongue.gif
*
personally, i just want solid gameplay. graphics, yeah 60 fps would be good. Sounds : well that kinda subjective unless you own the same car IRL when playing GT. but the tyres screeching effect in GT is the worse LOL.

only manual clutch system make some mechanical noise... itu pun if you incorrectly use the gear. modern gearbox such as DSG, feels like normal auto; to me atleast. and if the gearbox is noisy... well it is the sound of trouble LOL

i've played Assetto Corsa on PC, dont know if i'm gonna buy a PS4 version of it.

some talk about dat annoying tyre screeching sound as a reference for car losing grip or for determining the condition of tyre during loss of grip. i also find it super annoying. if only they have a slider like AC which can tone down the tyre sound as you please to suits your need that would be superb.

but still GTS is not enough to make me buy a ps4 a the moment. maybe when then final product release it turns out better i might consider it. many ppl are choosing the wait and see approach because ............................. ( dont want to go on, may become infinite rant)

im not sure how to describe the mechanical noise when shifting. maybe the best reference is the dirt rally sequential transmission mode or rfactor maybe. GT shifting without clutch is just like a singer singing his song without changing breath. its just AHHHHHHhaaaahHHHHAHHHHHHAhhhhhhh. continuous one.
*
agreed it is a hard sell for anyone to justify buying a PS4 just for GT Sport. Personally, i'm content if they stop making the GT series and stop it at GT6. I've played and own almost all of GT series released ( i still dont have GT Concept Tokyo-Seoul... its so damn freaking expensive), its hard to come up with a new concept which hasnt been featured in other games. I just wish the could marry the career mode of old TOCA series with GT.... heaven!

As always, i've already pre-ordered my GT Sport from Amazon smile.gif

im not sure why first party developer like PD with so much resource unable to deliver a full console-exclusive title but resort to this kind of E-sport thing.

because GT series solely based on Yamauchi's directions, and he's been doing this for 20 years...

QUOTE
During an interview with Kazunori Yamauchi, it was revealed that development of Gran Turismo started in the second half of 1992. Yamauchi added that at different times there were only seven to fifteen people assisting him. When asked how difficult it was to create Gran Turismo, Yamauchi remarked: "It took five years. In those five years, we could not see the end. I would wake up at work, go to sleep at work. It was getting cold, so I knew it must be winter. I estimate I was home only four days a year

Everyone suffers a burn out in their career, imho.

nice article. but in the future, please put the link to the original sauce for us to read further smile.gif

EDIT :

Found this video... GT Sport is not GT 7

What i take from the interview is, GT Sport is a reboot of GT franchise, because KY said there will be possibly no GT7 after GT Sport. I'm guessing after GT Sport, will be GT Sport 2?

the person from a9vg got ask kaz is sport like a variant of forza horizon, eg forza motorsport and forza horizon vs GT X and GT Sport 1/2/3, kaz say nope, GTS is a direct sequel to GT series in which i wondered. my friend also said if GT sport are played using PC formula like choose cars and race only without the gooding career mode like old time, startt from beli 2nd hand car take license test , then can do modification and fine tuning of cars. he might just give it up.

*
I still believe GT Sport is a reboot of the GT series, imho. But i do agree with you, if there's a need for the arcade version, they will release GT 7 and so on like the Forza series.

I like the way GTS implement the racing line system aid, no more line on the track.... but 3 triangles representing turn in point, apex, and exit point at every corner.

*
i think he's referring to the logitech wheels too, as they were the first company to manufacture GT licensed wheels.

Why the heck Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, ... not listed/participating? Cambodia got ...  confused.gif

Our national automobile body haven't heard of this / not yet express their interest on our behalf to GTS / FIA???
*
Kaz said that more countries will be added in the future because each country has its own standards/regulations.even US not yet listed. imho, this doesnt matter much unless you wanted to race a car in real life. If you're able to obtain the digital license, you still have to physically take test to own the real life racing license.

For the PS3 equipment, why i think mostly thrustmaster only

1. T80, T100, T300RS and T500RS natively support PS3 and PS4
2. GT Academy already underway in various country, mostly GTS is running on e3 build with T300rs wheel, but i spotted T500rs at brazil's GT Academy.
3. It was logitech decision to not support their legacy equipment on PS4 platform. Then they came out the G29 which is a PS4 wheel.
Last, even though not supported, there is something call GIMX tongue.gif
*
My comment is based on GT6, which support old legacy ps2 wheels and the current new one... even the old Driving Force works with GT6. and i think the interview asked KY about the wheels as a whole (thrustmasters, logitech, fanatec), if not sure the interviewer will clearly state Thrustmasters brand. because last time round, almost all PS2 wheels can be used on PS3. well i still hope that there'll be some sort of emulation to support older wheels.

i found my old PS2 setup for GT
