Anyone had luck moving apps to sd card yet?
How about spotify? Where did the songs go? The internal or sd card?

Just got this amazing phone. But seriously battery is my big concern right now. I need to disable everything just to make it lasts a day and no gaming. Using jellybean 4.1.2 no root yet.
Btw im thinking to get the dock, but can the phone fit with back case on so I can put it without removing it first? |

QUOTE(littlebeettle @ Sep 20 2013, 10:54 AM) There is a update on sony companion moment ago, then i try plug my XV in nothing happen. According to google, the kitkat update will be supported by many devices including the older phone who dont get 4.0.Looks like either we get kitkat upgrade or nothing (stay with current JB) Our device should get it, provided the dev team at Sony are willing to. But im happy with current version tho. Haha it's nice and smooth |

QUOTE(capoi @ Oct 3 2013, 12:47 AM) Just want to share a little trick how to prolong battery life. If you not so extreme user, but still need internet connection this trick worth to try. When I'm not browsing and left my phone idle, Iswitch my data to GSM mode (gprs/edge mode) to allow my phone receiving sms from whatsapp and email. If you often use your phone it can last at least more than 12 hours to 20 hours. My record with xperia v was nearly 40 hours Nice trick but it'll be a hassle to manually switch 2g/3g..Why don't they make an app that will automatically switch to 2g when in lock screen and switch back to 3g when the screen is wake up.. |

I hope the upgrade to 4.3 won't slow the phone down like 4.0 to 4.1 update in xperia J.

It get heats up a lot but I just slap the rubber casing and I barely feel it anymore...
But sometimes if playing games, I'll remove the cover to allow better air circulation... |

QUOTE(xperiaVuser @ Feb 18 2014, 02:25 PM) Mine doesn't switch. Have to manually do it. Its automatically turn on wifi at specified place but does it turn off when no signal is detected?I see. I must have turned something off then. It's quite useful for me And another annoyance is it doesnt toggle the mobile data off automatically.. |

My summary after updating to 4.3:
The only thing that I found to be useful in this update is the new keyboard layout.. It's easier and more intuitive than 4.1. The interface is very fluid, no more icon redraw on home screen. Stamina mode offers a little upgrade to the current extended standby mode by providing more options like putting apps in exceptions... But still disappointing because it cut off your data connection so you won't get notifications from whatsapp if your screen is locked. But the latest version of google now and chrome won't work. Whenever I launch it will forced closed.. There may be more bugs that havent been discovered yet. And the free memory was squeezed to less than 200MB compared to before the update which was 400MB.. I hope Sony will release another update to address these bugs. And the lock screen + volume down button to screen cap? What a fuss... |
