I wonder is this chip same as Htc One S (S4) ..(Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8260A chipset)

I am planning to get this phone for my sister, I have read from page 1 to 30, so far review are quite interesting. Just want to ask what about the sound of loudspeaker, is there any lag in UI ?

I just run both Antutu Benchmark = 10,875, and Quadrant Std Benchmark = 5713 which is really good reading for Stock ICS Rom version. The set belongs to my fren, just testing before buying for my sister.. Most likely, I might get one for myself HE HE HE

Screen are quite well responsive compare to Xperia X, Acro S .. I have tried both before..Hmmmm This makes me to get this set but only AP avalaible in Malaysia..

I have tested yesterday this device which I borrowed from fren of mine, so far the device are really performing quite well

1) Strong Signal
2) Wifi connection very fast compare to my HOX
3) Data Connection goods
4) So far no dropped call occur.
5) Battery Life give almost 20 hrs which is acceptable to me. (1 hrs Internet, 5-6 hrs whatsapps and games abt 30mins)

as equal to my HTC One X..

This is why keeping me away from "Sony Brand", very late in launching their latest product on time.. Although their product is really good..

If you take AP set, better take from reputable AP Vendor .. At this point I think DIRECTD has good service records..

One thing, really puzzle me, is the CPU - MSM8260A Dual Core Krait 1.5ghz. Because my fren download CPU Identifier App, it shows MSM8960 Chipset..

Only AP set are avalaible, Ori Set will be launch some time Mid January 2013, that was Sony Malaysia replied in their Facebook site..

More ever, Other Brands Such as HTC and Samsung will release their Newest Generation Quad Core Devices in 2013.. ex (S4-Samsung, HTC Droid DNA)

They do have good and reliable devices, but quite slow in products release to market, Software support also bit slow..

Other Brand already in Quad Core Devices in 2012 where else Sony still in Dual Core

I just wonder if Sony Malaysia launch Xperia TX in Jan 2013, would it be Jelly Bean ready or still ICS..? Because I read in GSMarena that in France, they delayed the release of T / TX due Jelly Bean...

Need to Even More Aggressive in terms of Marketing and Releasing the devices hmmmmm

I not sure abt the retail price there as he did signed up with contract with SingTel..

BTW, his set is T version not TX and he is using LTE Network in Singapore.. But what puzzled me that Sony Singapore did not officially launch T /TX there.. I wonder why.. Even Xperia V already launched in Singapore, that what my fren told me couple of days back..

Hmmm I also saw that .... I am waiting for this TX.. Looking we have to wait longer..for Ori Set to be sale in Malaysia.. I will wait till Mid January 2013, if not I will adopt to buy AP set..

Are u going keep the set for 3 years? OMG by than dont what model are going to be release....Now it self quite hard to catch up (dual core to quad core).. In three years dont how many core will be launch ?

I already decided to take AP set, just got offer from fren of mine wanted to sell at 1399 (used set for 1 month).. I think that good bargain for me.. Hope can secure the deal b4 New Year...

AP mean Local Company are allowed to bring / distribute / sell in Malaysia. They are not authorized Distributor appointed by Sony Malaysia (Thorus / Midland & Dynamic) .. But these devices are meant for Europe Market.. These AP Company will pay all taxes and necessary custom clearance and sells here.. It only matter on their Service after Sales.. Most important that they must provide good service service here.. In the past, most of AP company service centre are quite poor, but now they are improving..

Yep, under same company SONY but where they manufactured , we dont know.. maybe in Europe / India / China but not in Malaysia, as I know SONY dont have manufacturing Company for Mobile Phone in Malaysia.. Therefore the QC should 100% checked... and safe to buy them, as of now I dont see any QC problem rise for this TX or T devices..

Since I dont have budget to buy at expected price 1799, I am going for this my fren's offer...

T model only for Europe Region only where else TX for Other Region like Asian/Middle East and so on...
