MYR2.1k........unlikely to be RRP. For that price can buy S3 liao, hahahaha......i'd say 1.6-1.8k RRP but even at 1.8k its on the high side already......HTC One X area.....

I guess its best to play the "waiting game" first and wait for the bunch to come out first before getting Acro S and what not ? Wonder currently which Sony phones have the best built quality atm ? Acro S and even Xperia Go flap's look fragile and unreliable no ?

1.6 to 1.8k is really a good price if that is true! But if u look at the benchmarks (link below), out performs the one X...

Unfortunately i read somewhere that the Xperia T flap is also flimpsy..but then again..not like u're going to open and close every single hour/ minute right? If only Sony changes its mind to bring in the T instead....hot swappable SD Card...

More benchmarks for you guys to feast ur eyes on:

Can't wait for it to arrive in Malaysian shores....

anyone saw the review on engadget yet?

not particularly fantastic =/

Engadget reviews tend to be over bias to Apple products.

I would wait for GSMArena's review... Phonearena's review is up.

The James Bond's goodies leaked out already. Can download here:

http://www.mediafire.com/?j90kx8dkbfxaf1e

The zip file has three 007 wallpapers that will work on any Android phone with 720 x 1280 screen resolution. There is also a 007 ringtone and snazzy notification.

I'm using it with my XPS. biggrin.gif

Why go for the T over the TX, if I may ask?
*
Although T does not have removable battery, key things that im considering over the TX:

1. Slimmer (though only by a slight margin)

2. Hot swap MMC (the TX MMC is located under the hood and cannot be accessed without pulling out the battery).

3. Metal/ rugged furnish at the back plate (though rumors say that its an exclusive on the bond special edition).

Hope that clarifies your queries.

Thanks for the answers.

Any idea if any root methods etc. willl be cross compatible between the T and TX?
*
Logically speaking, there should not be any fundamental difference between the T and TX in terms of both hardware and software (please correct me if i am wrong). The only difference would be whether the battery is removable or not.

Thus, if there is a root method, boot unlocker, or Custom ROM, logically speaking, it should be cross compatible between both models.

Awesome phone with a sexy design biggrin.gif.. Wondering, does this comes with the new Sony Exmor RS sensor?
*
No the Exmor RS sensors will only be available in the next range of Xperia phones in early 2013.

But i think the Xperia V may have the Exmor RS sensor.

Hi. Hope anyone can answer me. I'm just curious. Whenever I see blog from soyacincau, or many other blogs, even the Lowyat website front page, they will say "Sony has confirmed this, Sony Malaysia has confirmed that", I am curious to know where did sony Sony actually says it? I'm not doubting or anything, I just want to know the primary source. Is it the inside information for the retailers that were not announced publicly, or is it anywhere in the official website (which I can't seem to find), etc.

Example, the announcement of Xperia T, the primary source was from Berlin IFA 2012, but when it comes to what model will be released in Malaysia, where can I find the primary source?

thanks.
*
IMHO, there are two sources where information like this can be obtained. (1) is tru insider information of people working in Sony Mobile Malaysia Division. Reason being they would probably have product training and an overview of what products will be launching, which product to Malaysia and its ETA. The second source would probably from official press releases by Sony Malaysia. However, given that Sony Malaysia have not issued any press release on the models, i would probably think that the source would be from (1).
