Very disappointed with AW's "promise"...
Not even a loan deal done yet we are shipping out some capable players - although some might not up to the par yet but hey, it's better to have them rather than not. Hope that we do not get hit hard with this. AW, I still trust in you! but this is from arseblog: IN SQUIDMAKH WE TRUST! |

Grading the big six EPL clubs in the transfer market
.... .... .... Arsenal (C+): Arsene Wenger has been quick to remind folks that Arsenal has spent a fair chunk in the transfer window, on Olivier Giroud, Lukas Podolski and Santi Cazorla, to help make up for van Persie's absence. But this phenomenon in the red half of North London is called replacing, not adding. Imagine the Gunners with van Persie, Podolski, Giroud and Cazorla. Therein lies the difference between a club realistically challenging for the title and one that will do well to finish fourth. Cazorla has made a smooth transition to the Premier League, and even if Giroud and Podolski haven't scored in two games, it's premature to suggest both will turn out like Marouane Chamakh. However, it's also silly to think Arsenal doesn't need more cover. Arsenal had to buy another proven scorer, a player who knows how to produce goals in England's top division. Wenger, though, rarely spends on proven Premier League performers, wary of the higher price tag. And not content with failing to grab Hazard and Vertonghen, Wenger let another one slip by when Nuri Sahin left Real Madrid for Liverpool. Alex Song's sale to Barcelona leaves Arsenal without another valuable international. He began purely as a defensive midfielder but became something more. By not signing a holding midfielder, Mikel Arteta (who, poor guy, thinks Arsenal can win the title) could be asked to play the role, which would take away from his ample offensive capabilities. Assistant manager Steve Bould's work on the defensive front has yielded results in two games, but another defender was needed. Per Mertesacker played well at Stoke on Sunday, but he was comfortable dealing with high balls instead of worrying about quick strikers on his shoulder. If one of Laurent Koscielny or Thomas Vermaelen is injured for a long stretch, it's an area of concern. But hey, in Arsene we trust, right? .... .... .... http://soccernet.espn.go.com/blog/_/name/e.../id/331?cc=5739 |

This will be the last season im trust wenger and i really believe this season arsenal will win at least 1 trophy however,
If still no trophies , pls go or change his job to scouting player for arsenal but not manager I think already many times with stupid promise, wenger being so cheap, stupid substitution change superb player in form on field to no player that can make impact, No bid for certain player who arsenal can get for cheap, still believe in unreliable players that has shown they cannot play for arsenal I was really excited when arsenal sign 3 good players with more than 10milllion each, can't wait for the epl start this season Then, in a week that epl want to start, 2 key players gone Now last week of transfer window, all players going out for loan. Just fantastic I hate rvp fee weeks ago but i started to agree he made a good decision. N for the song departure, fr me arsenal fault . |

all the 3 goals by Falcao...I hope he stays there rather than going to any premier league club (except Arsenal, but we never spend big money on players). I am really disappointed + suspecting arsenal transfer policy. Looks likely our club is still dependent on selling players to get more revenue. the different for this time is we buying prior selling. |

QUOTE(aladdin @ Sep 1 2012, 07:20 AM) http://sports.sina.com.cn/g/video/UEFASuperCup/che_atm/ Sorry to say that my beloved club Arsenal has been acting like a Chinaman company. Look at this season net transfer, they do not spend any but in fact earning a few millions from the clearance.all the 3 goals by Falcao...I hope he stays there rather than going to any premier league club (except Arsenal, but we never spend big money on players). I am really disappointed + suspecting arsenal transfer policy. Looks likely our club is still dependent on selling players to get more revenue. the different for this time is we buying prior selling. Their objective is to maintain a capable squad who is able to keep the club in CL spot in order to keep money rolling in for every season but not doing something to aim or try their best to win the title. All they care is the profit for the shareholders. If the club does not care to win one of the trophies for the fans but soley profit, then why they name it as a football club? Why fans still need to support this club year in year out regardless the football performance? By giving false hopes & empty promises to the fans, they can roll in the profit year in year out. The board must be thinking Arsenal fans are fool and a bunch of cash cow. |

Only God know the actual story why AW didnt want to sign anyone in last min.
We going to face very tough competition from our neighbour(spurd) and also swansea! Good luck AW and arsenal. Pls prove tht without major signing we still can win something. |
