essien will be a nice backup if we can get him on loan.. hope he can perform like wat gary mccalistter did for liv years ago if we really did get him.

What are the use of our scouts if we resort to a Michael Essien LOAN deal? After losing one of our star players in Song this deal strikes to me as disgusting. Of all the players available in the market we are linked to an unwanted out-of-form Chelsea player. Even if he finds his form here he'll head back for Chelsea with their fans thanking us. Haktuii! I hope this deal does not happen and it'll feel like Wenger's spitting on us.

Scouts don't only monitor 16-17 year olds. They also have a look at established players and evaluate how they'd fit into the team. That's how Giroud and Podolski came. Not sure about Cazorla as I think it's more of us taking advantage of a financial crisis.
