Most people fail to understand this game is still in it's beta stages. One obvious result is that the "casual" mode is nonexistent. Matchmaking is strictly competitive - you either play tourney-style or risk being alienated. Until the LAN mode is ready, players who wish to have casual games are limited to inhousing with friends.

Bf is often picked up for cheap damage and decent regen. Hard to speculate on item builds though, the best ones are usually custom-tailored to each game depending on your allies/enemies.

Mana regen on bh isn't really an issue. A solo mid bh usually picks up an early bottle, and for other lanes, a basilius does the trick. I don't disagree that deso is a good item on him, but I almost always pick up a bf first. As choyster said, it accelerates farm, and the hp+mana regen is a bonus. A direct deso on bh would require him to carry at least a bottle or some other form of regen to stay in lane.

Ixara, are there any requirements for the team base and banner logos? They are the only two that won't display. The hud and interface ones are working fine.

Got it to work. The stupid thing doesn't appear if you have bots in game. And to think that all this time I thought I got the image format etc. wrong.

This issue was debated a long while back. As seen in TF, selling the game invites players who are more serious about protecting their accounts, whereas F2P results in tons of spoilers. I feel the existing ban system is quite balanced in the sense that once you reach the higher matchmaking tiers, you rarely meet such people. Generally, a player's concern is only falling into ELO hell.

HoN and LoL are less technical. Some components have been edited/removed to make the games more exciting. LoL for one, is a gank game, with denying removed. Anyone who's played HoN will tell you the same - that early game domination is more prevalent. DotA is a bit more slow-paced. I still agree with your initial view though, LoL < HoN < DotA.

Does anyone here have a key to spare? I'm trying to source one out for a friend of mine.

I agree with this. Since the last round of keys went out, player behavior has been atrocious. There's no doubt that quite a few of the new players are very skilled, but the attitude that comes with it is sickening.

I have a regular Stumpy and Morok. Anybody wanna trade for keys?

How nice. The more I play, the more my win rate keeps dropping. I'm at 49+% now.

If your target is GPM then Furion would be a better option, can easily hit over 800.

Very true. Alc has been nerfed so many times already. I remember that when he was first released in D1, he was banned from most tourneys. Alc+Skadi ruled back then.

I'm seriously losing the love for this game. Two wins in my last eight games.
