I sakit hati because forever got stupiak in team. It's disheartening when you're the only one playing seriously. The following two cases apply:
Playing alone - If I support, the carry farm bodoh item. When I carry, I have to courier and ward. Gank also I have to take initiative.
Playing with clanmates - Coaching sessions can vary, sometimes they perform, sometimes they screw up. Worst of all, I'm in charge of training up the new players, some of them haven't even seen certain heroes before. Ask to play AI, all rage "clan lord don't want play with me damn useless". Cry blood liao. cry.gif

My worst losing streak is 9 games. I was 60+% during 1xx wins, drop to 50+% after 2xx wins, then 3xx wins onwards down toilet already. Now around 49%. Kalau ikut trend, by the time I hit 500 wins my win rate should be 30% trololol.

My current strategy when playing alone. My last 1 page full of supports. One thing I notice is that most players know how to farm. Mati-mati they must farm, so better put hope in their farm then their support.

Today finally managed a 4-game win streak, thanks to Judge and Summer! rclxm9.gif

It's not just your win rate that factors into high level games. From what I've noticed:
1. High level players have a 50% average win rate. Those below 50% are automatically demoted to the 2nd bracket. The 3rd bracket is reserved for players who are new to the game, i.e. their performance rating cannot be ascertained just yet. Once a minimum number of games have been played, the system assigns you either the 1st or 2nd bracket.
2. The games you play also depend on the majority of the party you're in. If the majority is 1st bracket, you're assigned 1st bracket games. Same goes for 2nd bracket games etc.

Both these observations lead me to believe that Valve is using a modified version of Microsoft's TrueSkill rating system, with the mean win rate being the determining factor for your skill bracket.

It's a bit sad that with DOTA 2 development, yes it much better but it also transform the game on how players tends to play now especially you can easily spectate pro level game but sometimes people just misunderstood the idea behind why some players do this. This is what I call playing without brain.

Based on my experience in RGC, CM is generally a bad idea when you're not in a party of 5. Most people don't like taking instruction from players they don't know. As a result, team coordination is purely up to the instincts of the 5 individual players.

Disruptor: Fixed Glimpse interaction with invulnerable units
Magnus: Fixed enemies being able to cast and attack while in Skewer pull

Fixed several item sets having incorrectly tagged rarities, relative to the contents of the set.
Fixed Sword of Sir Davion being white for some users.
Fixed overly bright specular on the Runed AiIlettes.

BOTS

Fixed bug that would cause bots to not ever want to go to the Secret Shop if they want to buy a TP scroll.
Fixed bug where bots would always think they could push towers unopposed.- Optimized tango tree search.
Juggernaut bot now better estimates Omnislash damage (will no longer think it'll bounce to out-of-range creeps).
Bots will now consider whether their laning opponents are ranged or not to determine their desired lane position.
When a hero is farming a lane, bot desire to push that lane is now lessened.
Lowered the desire to help out with an under-control tower defense when in the laning phase.
Fixed incoming defense evaluation.
Lowered defend desire when not in late game.
Adjusted Juggernaut's loadout.
Made Blade Fury focus on its target better
Trying something different with determining when and how to lead a target.
Bots laning with a hard carry should now harass enemies more.

No item is a must on any hero, but bf gives you regen, push capability, and a cheap source of damage. With a good initiator such as ds or mag, the cleave will also give you a chance to wipe out multiple heroes at once. brows.gif

That's just as bad imho. Some people are very skilled at making bad calls and getting their teammates killed.

Scenario 1: Carry suicides, support follows and dies as well. "Noob already know cannot save why come?"
Scenario 2: Carry suicides, support recognizes a lost cause and doesn't follow. "Noob why no save me?"

Screw the farming ability, if you notice, drow now has the same ability as pa - she can identify when enemy heroes are close by. Ganking drow is going to be much harder now.

A general reminder to those who aim to do well in matchmaking:

1. Combos are good, but all combos have counters. If you rush pick your combo, a good opponent will counter pick.
2. The objective of any player in the hard lane is to gain as much experience as possible without feeding the opponent. Most hard lane heroes can participate in ganks later on without the need for much farm (keyword here is MOST, not ALL). To keep your suffering to a minimum, learn to buy wards and ward their nc - combined with heavy denies, this will keep the creep wave near your tower, allowing you to farm in a relatively safer environment. 150 gold (~5 creeps) for wards is nothing compared to 6 minutes of no farm because you fear walking past the side shop.
3. NEVER abandon your lane unless it's to gain a significant tactical advantage. Tactical advantage here refers to a successful gank and/or tower push. If you are unable to manage your lane, call for reinforcement. Abandoning the lane altogether results in only one of two things - free farm for the opponent, which translates to a tougher mid-game, or you force another teammate to solo the lane, resulting in two members of your team that is outfarmed and/or outleveled.
4. Carry a TP scroll at ALL times. This is NON-NEGOTIABLE. Map-wide mobility is the cornerstone of any successful offensive and/or defensive strategy.
5. Mid lane heroes should learn to control runes with the assistance of warding from the supports. For heroes such as Invoker who don't play a bottle in the mid lane, learn to use your Forge Spirit to scout and deny runes.
6. The objective of the game is to destroy your enemies' structures. NOT farm until the cows come home, and neither is it to kills as many heroes as you can without regard for your base.
7. When ganking, try not to take the obvious route. Common sense dictates that if you see two heroes charging towards you, you'll retreat to your tower.

That's all I can think of right now, I'll add on as things come to mind.
