Although me no peugeot the owner, but thanks for the unbiased review. I sat in the 407 a couple of times, the suspension crashes as well in potholes and some rough patches here and there overall its a very comfortable and stable car on high speeds.

No doubt, 407 and 408 are in different segments. Most people compare these two simply due the price factor. Frankly although the 408 is in C segment,is more classy, more spacious, more power and much better feedback feel at the steering wheel(turbo model )than the D segment brethren.

I wrote some time back how 408 has practically killed the used 407 market. Who would pay $90k for a 3 year old 407 with no warranty when you can get brand new 408 with 5 year warranty, for $20k extra. The 20k margin narrows when you factor higher finance on used car.

Different segments yes, but finally, it's about value for money and how much one is willing to part with.

Updated gearbox, but still 4spd. New solenoid valve and oil cooler added to the 08 models onwards.

The 408 is classier than the 407? Don't feel so.... Spacious than the 407? Is it true?

wat mean by not so domain? different segment of car...

VW brand itself worth much more than Audi itself.. anyway.. all under VW group...

just like Lexus... the turn over are much smaller compare to Toyota brand itself...
