Pulse and Partners to Launch Big Data Centre:
http://www.mrweb.com/drno/news17790.htm Pulse Group’s big data unit Pulsate has partnered with technology giants Dell and Intel and statistical software specialist Revolution Analytics, to set up a Big Data Solutions Centre, which will pool big data expertise from the four companies. The launch of Pulsate was announced last month by Asia Pacific research outsourcing and panels firm Pulse Group. The new centre, based in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, will mine client data for insights, and use this information to predict future patterns and trends, and will offer training for businesses and government organisations in Malaysia. Pulsate will also invest in setting up a Big Data Academy in Kuala Lumpur. Revolution Analytics CEO David Rich (pictured) comments: ‘The global market for big data analytics is growing at a rapid pace and businesses across the Asia region are aggressively tapping into the new insights that big data analytics is generating to drive competitiveness. The collaboration with Pulsate will allow us to work with its approximately 3,000 clients to help build advanced analytics capabilities into their current solutions and bring them into our ecosystem of solution partners.’ |

QUOTE(zoomckng @ Sep 2 2013, 10:00 AM) yea expect more expats to come over here to fight for a living (IT Professionals). Like Singapore, Malaysia has many advantages compared to other ASEAN countries. As jobs are harder to come by in the US, Europe and even Australia. I had a friend who is SAP certified unable to hold a job in AUS. very sad case. If Malaysian companies can do like Singapore, they are many opportunities ahead. I do know that Silver Lake taking in Vietnamese expat, RM 10k per head count for short term project: http://www.silverlakegroup.com/ |

QUOTE(jason_tee @ Sep 2 2013, 05:50 PM) Super Link only, can't afford anything higher, not rich like all of you guys. Brother jason_tee live, work & play @ Cyberjaya!Own stay. I work here for 5 years+, the place is confirmed developing and consider fast if compare to my current location Seremban. Quite convenient to every place around KL/PJ and no jam, I hate jam so Puchong is definitely out, Kajang too complicated, Bangi/Shah Alam malay area, worry I can't get the license for my dogs, Sungai Buloh too far away, Damansara either too far or too expensive, KL just same like Puchong or worst.....so after comparing Cyberjaya is the best among all. Leng Lui or not is very depend on personal taste. Went to their office, not say very leng lui but not bad looking though, and not hao lian or lcly, very friendly but need more study on their own unit, some question can't answer and need to refer to more technical person, but usually Sales person is like that so it's ok, overall not too bad. Went to the Cyberjaya resortview hotel for the fair last time, other developer didn't have any leng lui SA also....maybe leng lui SA never got assign to Cyberjaya project? LOL People see 3% work force staying now negative, again we see it super positive! |
