Guys, yesterday I brought this Galaxy S2 Non G Ap Set, 2 months old from mudah.my... Still new, no dent, no dead pixela and it already updated to ICS 4.0.3, non rooted..

Now I am trying to figuring out how to root and flash Custom Rom that is available in XDA forum.. Any help from you guys are appreciated if you guys can guide me.. I did read the 1st to 4th Post of this thread but I am bit worry ...

I am using the Jelly King v1.5 with Siyah Kernel v4.1.5.. When I run the Antutu Bench Mark, it show that my max CPU is 1.2 ghz.. Can I overclock this ? Just for my knowledge only..

Well, I look at the XDA forum, there is so much of Custom Rom available for Non G version, dont know which one to choose.. Guys , can recommend one that has better battery stability and reliablility..

There is no White Non G model for Malaysia market. According to my fren who is Samsung Mobile Dealer told me few months back that SME stop selling Black Non G model and start selling G model only.. Even now I asked him, can we get Non G model, he said only AP set can but that depends which AP company selling.. Also he did mentioned also that currently in the market there fake/imitation SGS S2..

Hmmmm, couple days back, one of my office staff brought from someone claiming that the set is SME Ori with warranty left abt 8 months from SME.. But turn to be FAKE as he went to Samsung Service Centre in KL. After various test done by Service Centre Staff, they confirmed that the set is fake. He was like really pissed off but what to do, he cant able to contact the seller what so ever..

Now days, to buy Smartphone or any other phones, must be really careful, we as Consumer don't know whether the product that we are buying are really genuine or not as there a lot of Fake/Imitation model are available..

I am using DiliDroid ICS R1.4 since three weeks, I have not issue in 3G Internet surfing or sending/receiving MMS in Maxis Network.. I just deleted std APN and created New APN.. It been working perfecly ever since

This what the settings for APN Maxis

MAXIS
Home -> Menu -> Settings -> Wireless & networks -> Mobile networks -> Access Points Name
Menu -> New APN
Name = Maxis(3G)
APN = unet
Username = maxis
Password = wap
MMSC = http://172.16.74.100:10021/mmsc

Authentication type = PAP
APN type = default,supl,mms
(Others, leave blank)

Well, I am still using ICS 4.0.4 DiliDroid V4.1 with latest Dream Kernel.. I don't have any memleak.. I better stick with ROM as this Rom serves me well as daily usage...

Did any1 send their SGS S2 to service centre due this issue as my fren faced that is when ever take out battery from the set and re insert back, it boot automatically.. If yes, what was the main cause of the problem and what was rectification made ?

I believe I have bricked my set.. Now it cant on or go download mode or recovery!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

I was doing Nandroid Restore via CWM.. while restoring system its, suddenly it gone ... all black out..

Tried this : - On the set - nothing happen
Download Mode - Nothing happen
Recovery - Nothing happen...

Any help?

DiLiDroiD ICS UHLPS 4.0.3 R4.1 - THE MONSTER

I was trying using this ROM - Resurrection Remix JB v3.0.9 past two days b4 that i was using this DiLiDroiD ICS UHLPS 4.0.3 R4.1 - THE MONSTER for past one month.. So yesterday I did restore via CWM !!!!!It gone...

Yes, it has about 85% ...

What I should tell to the Service Centre ppl, I planning to go to PJ Service Centre.. How long does it take for them to repair or replace the Main board?

Good Morning Guys/Gals...

I just came back from Samsung Service Centre PJ, sent my SGS S2 which I cant on or charge at all.. At first they decline they decline to take as they claim the warranty already over for this set (Non G) by look at the Serial / Imei No, but i did mentioned that i have warranty until 1st Jun 2013, they said can't be.

Then I show them the SMS that stated warranty from Jun 2012 to Jun 2013, then only they take the set.. According to them, they have to check first what wrong with the set, i told them that while charging the phone, it goes blank and cannot on or charge at all.. Even after take the battery , reinsert back still the same.. They also did the same thing but they noticed the set get warmed at the back of the set near camera area.. So they said the mainboard got problem, it will take them to repair or repair 3-7 working days.. I told them I dont take phone so ask them for favour to speed it up , they seaid they will try their best...

Ok Thanks for the info, because I just called them asking aboutt status, they mentioned that they changed PCB board and still testing... hmmmmm
