I'll try to keep it short

Model is Non-G
Stock Samsung firmware ICS 4.0.3 DXLPB (flashed thru Odin)

Problem:
1. Battery drain issue.

Minimal usage, on screen to check for any notifications or calls.
Very few apps installed: Line, Whatsapp, 1Tap cache cleaner, astro, 3G watchdog. That's all

Battery drains at approx 1% per 10minutes when idle. I have read forums that people can get minimum 3-4 hours on screen time on ICS. With my phone, no way at this rate.

Battery usage shows my phone wakes up alot. Could be due to Line, as I have read some comments from users complaining that Line is waking up the phone very often. Anybody having the same prob? Is it due to Line?

I can't give you a screenshot of my battery usage as I have now flashed back to 2.3.6


2. Sometimes after overnight charging and I wake up and check on my phone, not sure whether it is my processor or my screen, my phone is hot. This did not happen before.Scary..Anyone having this prob?



Actions taken so far to try solve the issue:
Factory reset, hard reset, clear cache, reflashed DXLPB. Have not tried other firmwares.

Have now gone back to 2.3.6 and battery is doing great. As for heating issue, I probably need a week or 2 to see if it still happens as it happens randomly.

If GB is not giving me these problems, Imma stay at GB till JB.
