hi. i just got this problem this morning. it was fine yesterday. anybody has faced this before? tried clearing the data but still pops up at the notification bar.


EDIT: found out that some of ppl facing the same issue. and tried signed out from Google+ and sign back in. will see 1st if it'll still pop up or not.

my phone's IMEI changed everytime I restart my phone. im not sure why. luckily i have my original IMEI backed up. so after restart, I need to restore my original IMEI. what annoyed me was, after restoring my ori IMEI, i need to reverify my Whatsapp. =.=" just wondering what seems to be the problem.

I'm using PA2.13 with Dorimanx 5.78 (i think).. anything i should do to prevent my IMEI from changing? =O

guys, right now my phone have a generic IMEI, which is 0044999XXXX0000. the signal is still there and so far, no problem much la except sometimes the phone rebooted by itself. I think I've backed up my efs using kTool before and saved it to my pc.

I don't understand what he meant with "NOTE THAT AT LEAST YOU MUST HAVE THE SHIPPED ORIGINAL EFS FOLDER ON YOUR PHONE ( even if you didn't make a backup of it yet and even it's messed up ) FOR THIS METHOD TO WORK". Where can I find the folder?

Should I stick with this generic IMEI or try to recover? I've tried to recover using kTool but still get the same IMEI. Haven't tried to recover with the backed up efs files on my pc yet tho.

Actually, what is the cause of this? o.O

already tried restoring my IMEI with the back up i did way back. changed back to my original, but after rebooting, the IMEI always changed to the generic one. installed PA2.15 with DorimanX 5.83 and changed my modem to DXLP9 instead of DXLPA. meh, idk what to do anymore. maybe i'll just use the generic IMEI for the time being.

i just want to know what is the cause for my IMEI to change after rebooting. any sifus can enlighten me?

ADDITION:
if i want to install a stock ICS firmware, should i download DXLP7/9/A from here? and i have to use Odin right? and it will wipe my device & lose my root (not on SDcard) right?

will try to do a factory reset 1st then only i flash stock firmware. yea hopefully it'll resolve this problem. getting headache already

i bought it. XD it's nice to play around with gestures and the unread count is very nice. for me la.. hehe.

not to say better la. depends on that person's preferences. for me, it's enuff for me already.

if ori, it's quite expensive i think. i bought a normal compatible charger for RM15 to put at the office. XD
