I don't understand this, ain't S2 assembled in Korea and parts made in China?
The motherboard (which I think contains the IMEI) doesn't relate to where it was assembled.

try to use non-sammy roms, you still stuck with this problem huh

AOKP roms? there are tonnes of them out there, no need to be a geek to use aokp roms, because they just work and look like vanilla ics, just like on the gnexus

You can try RR AOKP, if you want ICS then go for 2.6.1, its the last ICS they offer
