campro vanilla should use what engine oil ? i mean the manufacturer recommendation.
*
Never had chance reading campro manual book, it should stated the recommended viscosity. But usually use semi syn 10w40, dont know whether can use 10w30 or not coz blm flx use that viscosity IINM. Also when selecting engine oil it's depend on your engine condition & usage.

cheers

blh tahan jgak sluggish. tp lebih kurang 10w40je. lebih konfiden bwk laju long distance sbb tau minyk tebal. test bwk dr kuala perlis cny bru ni. tp bkan utk dragla klu guna minyk ni. interestingla i see similarities with syntium5000 when i checked the oil. i dont get that with 0w40. but from asking bengkel castrol authorised workshop in kulai they say the best castrol for performance is edge sport 0w30/40. even they dont stock 10w60.

Ooo...ok la if use w60 feels like using w40, must be the fully syn formula. I think if endurance racing sure use this viscosity.

15w-50 full syn is around RM85/liter.
5w-40 last time cost around RM140/2 liter.

Now I am tempted to DIY changing to dual layer brake servo. Any recommendation other than Evo4 and above?

ABS can function like normal if change bigger servo.
but must bleed properly for ABS system.

evo4 servo can fit into neo?

The problem is finding a dual layer servo with correct housing and connection with minimal mod. I Know it cost more than RM350 to convert standard servo without ABS to dual layer.
I think Evo4 to Neo is not PnP.
I am not familiar with ABS module yet but I use to DIY bleeding at 4 side.

ive googled n found out bleeding ABS brake system downstream (after the abs modulator) can be performed normally..
but upstream ('pre' modulator) is a bit different.. need pressure bleeder n scan tool. hmm.gif

That is where the problem start....lol.
The other day, I removed the ABS fuse. Late braking is such a breeze.

I removed the main fuse from engine bay. I think its somewhere at bottom left with ABS sign on the cover. Engine check light does turn on but I still drive for few KM to get the feel....lol.
Before you remove, have you try covering the ABS module? Too much heat which is a nature of Campro can caused the ABS to turn on anytime.
I posted a pic of my ABS module DIY covered too as before that, ABS like to turn on for fun. After DIY job, so, far only light up once but that was when I suddenly jam the brake.

u mean sensor or ABS module?
sensor can replace 1 by 1.
ABS module is only 1 unit in engine bay.

u can try check the sensor 1st at wheel knuckle.
maybe sensor or sensor wheel dirty.
