one thing that caught my attention is the 16 bit colour processing. why didn't they put it in the d800/e and d4?
why this?

one small thing that irritates me is dual SD card slots. what am i going to do with my CF cards now?

i welcome the small body. the dual SD card slots is a small matter. i just have to buy new cards and sell off my CF. but it is still irritating hahaa
on the 16 bit colours. some said it still capture on 14 bits but process at 16 bits. well, 16 bits process is still wayyyy better than 14 bits process...

d800/E though it's nice to have but if i ever need a 30+ MP, i will go larger.

d600 on the other hand is more forgiving as it's 'only' 24MP.
ROI also faster lol

d800 is 91,000 pixels?

thanks! lighting is better this time although when they serve the pork they dim down the light so those are actually iso2800 lol.

all the shots are pp'ed, learned quite a bit researching lots of forums...

i left it auto 100-3200,, and despite choosing iso2800 (only that pork and sausage) by the camera, im getting shutter speed of 1/15 and still looks underexposed, bumped the ev quite a bit in post. it was quite dim actually. when will Nikon come out with fast prime?

Btw after using j1 for some time, I must confess I finally photography-poisoned lol. now craving for something better and eyeing on the om-d now due to the size and performance and the lens choice. still quite a lot of money though...

why choose high iso? no choice. and why not? blurred shot or noisy image, I choose noisy image.
