Better to take it out and send for biopsy just to be sure. Most are benign though.

QUOTE(asha24 @ Aug 29 2012, 05:15 PM) Yes I'm praying. I had a breast lump removed almost 20 years ago and luckily it was benign. If you are in Penang I would suggest you go to Lam Wah Ee Hospital and see Dato Yip. He's a very good surgeon. Good luck dear |

Who's your doctor?
No the lump did not come back; thank god! I went back for checkups twice; after that I just monitor on my own. I've been for mammogram twice after that but did not follow up since I found out that mammogram could give false results. Recovery was immediate! I wasn't in bed all day! It was just a day case and I was back home in the afternoon. Don't worry about it. Your wound would be plastered up and you could move about. My scar is non-existent. The cut was along the border of my areola so it's not noticeable at all. It was hard after it healed but after I took epo the skin softened and now it's like normal. I've been taking epo ever since. I just turned 57 last month. At your age I doubt it could be cancer; it's just some sort of breast disease. Don't worry about it. The chances of a woman getting breast cancer in her thirties is very slim. Be strong and keep praying. |

epo=evening primrose oil
Yes delaying another week won't worsen it. It should be a quick one and you could be up and running later in the day. Ask your doctor whatever you need to ask; it's understandable that you be briefed on the procedure. |
