anyone heard of fibroadenoma before ? a breast lump about a pea size in one side or both...
They are most common in young women in their twenties and thirties, but they may occur at any age..
anyone had this health issue before ? care to share your experience ...is surgery is necessary to remove the lump?

Better to take it out and send for biopsy just to be sure. Most are benign though.

If you are in Penang I would suggest you go to Lam Wah Ee Hospital and see Dato Yip. He's a very good surgeon. Good luck dear

Who's your doctor? No the lump did not come back; thank god! I went back for checkups twice; after that I just monitor on my own. I've been for mammogram twice after that but did not follow up since I found out that mammogram could give false results. Recovery was immediate! I wasn't in bed all day! It was just a day case and I was back home in the afternoon. Don't worry about it. Your wound would be plastered up and you could move about. My scar is non-existent. The cut was along the border of my areola so it's not noticeable at all. It was hard after it healed but after I took epo the skin softened and now it's like normal. I've been taking epo ever since. I just turned 57 last month. At your age I doubt it could be cancer; it's just some sort of breast disease. Don't worry about it. The chances of a woman getting breast cancer in her thirties is very slim. Be strong and keep praying.

epo=evening primrose oil
Yes delaying another week won't worsen it. It should be a quick one and you could be up and running later in the day.
Ask your doctor whatever you need to ask; it's understandable that you be briefed on the procedure.

You know, I found out that I got cancer from having a small lump behind my nipple. Turned out it was a side effect from having cancer at testicle.
Get yours check, and hope for the best.
