QUOTE(tapiritam @ Jun 18 2013, 02:07 PM) Guys, can recommend or suggest me any oil and gas company that are looking for fresh graduate? I just graduated end of last year and am desperately looking to venture the oil and gas industry. My background is mechanical and graduated from oversea with the result of 2nd upper. Tried few companies but still no luck up until now. Seems like it's really tough to join OnG industry Look from here ?

QUOTE(uberlebender @ Jun 22 2013, 12:58 PM) Try google Hays Oil and Gas Global Salary Guide 2012. You will see that last year Subsea Engineer is in demand and hence the higher salary in that career path. If you read up on news in Malaysia regarding subsea also you will see that the career path will be valuable here as well. Update: Now have the 2013 issue. http://hays.clikpages.co.uk/Oil_and_Gas_Salary_Guide_2013/oh thanks for the info, should be a pretty good path i think This post has been edited by MUFTW: Jun 22 2013, 08:44 PM

QUOTE(meonkutu11 @ Jun 23 2013, 12:29 PM) It was rated as one of the top 5 highest salary by Rigzone few months ago. I know the subsea engineer on the drilling rigs getting awesome salary as their position are very crucial for the BOPs operation. I guess very very crucial after the Mocondo. Even my company treat them as par as the OIM...huhuhu Not sure the other subsea engineer in the design and service companies or vendors... So u were mentioning the Subsea Engineer in Operator company ?
