i am in the approved closed MW online beta. it is interesting.
pilot skills trees and mech skills trees are a new interesting concept as well. you can customize your mech. after you buy your own and stop using the trial mech. it will roughly take 50 rounds for you to be able to buy a respectable mech for yourself. very very hard to reach there. plus you don't get XP until you start using your own mech. some tips (since i crash course through it) 1. use "R" to Radar lock targets & hammer them with LRM. 2. as for weapon grouping, use CTRL to cycle through selected weapons, using left/right cursor to put them into selected group. like grouping laser weapons as one groups, LRM as another group. 3. with our ping of 250++ , having a fast runner mech to storm enemy base is just not practical. 4. some players don't go for kill but concentrate on taking a particular section part of a enemy mech as it gains more money and XP, due to harder to kill an enemy mech. extremely lag these few days. A bit worry about once open beta started. Haiz...

anyone have any recommendations which first mech to buy?
i am considering between Dragon type or the Centurion type, the Dragon type is heavy class seem to have a better balance but both purchase price are high and low ranging Dragon type at around 5.5million and Centurion type around 3.5million. i just realise that you can actually speed up the destruction of the enemy base by whacking the little box in the center (supposedly flag i guess). hahaha... |

ok i just tried it out a bit.
250+ ms ping. playable WASD to move, mouse to aim and shoot. the game is default window wide screen. i forgot to tweak the graphics. macam guna cry engine 3 since saw the logo at start. errr i went leeroy charge into enemy players then kena the first to be bungkus lul. now spectating. feels awesome game. |
