QUOTE(Naka7a @ Apr 25 2016, 02:30 PM) sure not thats a 5000?btw, 5000 can easily get locally. only catch is that its part of the g-set 30 which costs rm1.7k here. still decent price considering those on ebay going for much higher. http://www.g-central.com/gset-30-1-g-shock-gift-box-set/ This post has been edited by Everdying: Apr 25 2016, 02:39 PM |

QUOTE(Gilthoniel @ May 19 2016, 08:56 AM) Ah Icic. the whole gshock gps range is basically here la. Yeah it's a behemoth. Am considering to get this or the astron which is pricier! U mean they have GPS gshocks in malaysia? if gshock gps, better look at the mtg which is around rm5k here and way more wearable. ![]() |

QUOTE(Gilthoniel @ May 19 2016, 02:10 PM) Ah Icic... astrons are nice, but the price increases over time have made them not nice.Might just get an astron Cheaper than Malaysia and more wearable Was considering a quartz GS but then What's the point... used to be able to get entry lvl ones at a little over rm4k...now i think rm6k min? equivalent astrons and the gshock MRG are pretty cool tho, both titanium constructions, both sexpensive. and GS quartz, why not? still in-house quartz... just like seiko in-house quartz in their tunas are legendary. |

QUOTE(fuzzy @ May 23 2016, 03:59 PM) The 6900 does look bigger and more "gshock"-ey in my mind. 5600 seems just bit too small. what i dont like about 5600 is exposed crystal, hence if can i would put bullbars...it just feels naked and somehow un-gshock like without bullbars.I checked out the 5500 as well, didn't fancy is as much. 5000 is probably my go to for now. 5500 only reason to like it is cos it is the grand daddy of the mudman. |

QUOTE(fuzzy @ May 23 2016, 04:56 PM) The newer ones is coming back with the bullbars right? i believe those are limited edition?SO set her sights on DW-D5600P-8JF, so I'm getting that for her. Question is now myself, as I don't really foresee myself getting more than 1 gshock, thus my reluctance to simply pull the trigger as I would with my other pieces. also look to have a diff module to the basic 5600, so probably slightly diff size also. |

QUOTE(fuzzy @ May 23 2016, 05:37 PM) Saw that yesterday in Pertama, they offered it at RM600 which is insane given it probably retails around 400 or so before markup. got la, just see what letter in front of it. But perhaps the limited thing plays up the price. Basuc 5600 no tough solar right? GWM5610 is probably another option. Just wondering if it's worth paying twice that for the GW5000.. got G, got solar...so a G5600. |

QUOTE(DeepMemory @ Jun 17 2016, 02:41 PM) Guys can recommend any gshock under rm500? Its a birthday gift to a friend. Was looking at GA-400GB but most shops has no stocks. He prefer gold color. just simply visit gshock site and see usd prices urself. not many gold gshocks around anyway so choosing one can't be that hard. |

QUOTE(quintesson @ Feb 11 2017, 03:53 AM) Geez... This problem happened to the latest gulfmaster gwn-q1000 and protrek prw-6000 too. I'm wondering is the Casio motor for the analogue watch is not reliable? thats why i been purposely avoiding any g-shocks with second hands...the problem occurs everywhere randomly...I am planning to buy either prg-600 or prw-6100 now a bit uncertain. So how's the warranty work out? from entry level gravity defiers all the way to MTG also...but of cos with so few ppl owning MTG u dont hear the problem that often. mostly with the newer models like the infamous gulfmaster. |
