u can try to send to the service center here...but if no international warranty then obviously ur gonna have to pay.

even local ones from distro here got international warranty.

Geez... This problem happened to the latest gulfmaster gwn-q1000 and protrek prw-6000 too. I'm wondering is the Casio motor for the analogue watch is not reliable?
I am planning to buy either prg-600 or prw-6100 now a bit uncertain.

thats why i been purposely avoiding any g-shocks with second hands...the problem occurs everywhere randomly...
from entry level gravity defiers all the way to MTG also...but of cos with so few ppl owning MTG u dont hear the problem that often.
mostly with the newer models like the infamous gulfmaster.
