Im interested to know too.

Got my car few weeks ago and still trying to find out. Initially SC pumped 40PSI into my 215/55/17 but feel really hard. Then I read the guide on the pillar and pumped 33PSI but keep scrapping bumps. Increase to 35PSI also scrap bumps. Im trying 37PSI now.

Use your recommended tyre pressure by your manufacturer. It's normally at the side of the driver's door.

As a rule of thumb i normally pump 31-33psi for all my cars. Once I pumped too high and it was bald in the middle of my tyres not to mention it's not comfortable.

imho, 29-32psi (cold) is sufficient enough. anything above that will result in a harsh ride.

A good way of double-checking that your pressures are correct for your application is the 4psi rule, recommended as a good rule-of-thumb for accurate, appropriate tyre pressures.

Check tyres when cold ie early morning
and then straight after a decent highway run you should see a 4psi (0.275 bar) increase.
If it is less, you have set your cold tyre pressures too high;
if it is more, then you have set them too low.
Adjust the cold pressures accordingly and check the results when hot again and you should have a 4psi difference.

Tyre shop would advise around 30 to 32 PSI for both.. 35 PSI for 4 wheel drive vehicle.

Mine is 265kpa(38.44psi) for front and 255kpa(36.98psi) for rear tyre sweat.gif So far the wear seems even (I'm using Silverstone FTZ Evol8 205/45R17). I'm using this tyres nearly 2years already. I like this setup coz it feels more responsive to my style of driving.

If park under sun, add 1 psi to your manual recommended pressure, if driving less than 80 kmh, add 2, if more than that add 4.

The sticker is only useful for the stock tyres and the vehicle the sticker is attached to.

It is normal to have anything from 30-36 psi, but it really depends on a number of factors;
1) vehicle weight (or + passenger/cargo weight)
2) comfort level vs responsiveness
3) low profile vs standard vs sidewall stiffness (or XL - extra load tyre)
4) tyre models

I'm running anywhere from 32-36psi on my Satria shod with a variety of 195/50/15 tyres. Some tyres need more pressure, some with stiffer sidewalls can do with less.

I'm more concerned with TS's odd tyre size combo. Must be one of these jacked up Wira's

My general rule of thumb is this. Please use this LOOSELY. Does not take into consideration sidewall stiffness... a normal tyre can take up the equivalent of 1-5 psi of air pressure, even when empty.

My tyre contact patch is about 18 sq inches, so total contact area is about 72 sq inch (4 x 18)
35psi x 72 = 2520lbs = 1145kg

Which is about the weight of my car wet weight + 1 driver.

Factoring the ideal pressure with the help of the sidewall strength for my car would be about 32, but I like it stiffer.
