I don't think they scan the arriving luggage from the plane before putting them on the conveyor belt. However, after you collect your luggage, the customs will conduct random checks before you exit to the arrival hall.

So, depends on your luck then. (Not that I'm encouraging you.)

wah.. don't play play, i saw before ppl got stopped for checking after they collected the luggage from the conveyor in KLIA. seriously don't take the risk.. you will never know what those officer think and how are their mood on that day..

dismantle it...half put in check in bag..other half carry in pocket..or hand bag.

For Safert...you need go Malaysia Kastam Headquater ask for more Info...maybe can apply some Permit at there.  Ask for any Malaysia Law can allow air gun into malaysia or not.  IF you plan buy Air Gun at Taiwan...make sure u need go taiwan emmbersy at Malaysia ask for Info also.

IF Taiwan also not allow Air Gun go through Airport....at Taiwan before you boarding aircraft at Terminal luggage X-Ray scan you got firearm...is dead penalty for you already......you no need come back malaysia you already dead man in taiwan

under msia law, air gun consider as fire arm as well. 

the kastam officer may take away the gun and give u stern warning but if they want press charge, it's dead penalty or long term jail.

If its illegal, don't attempt it.
