After a lot of experiments, finally got a very good strafe build for 1.0.5.

(equilibrium is of course replaced by emberstrafe)
At a glance, chain of torment, emberstrafe and shuriken cloud might look different.But upon closer look, you'll realize that they are all damage per second skills.

Total theoretical dps = 100%+34%+65% = a whopping 199% damage per second

Whats more is that they all proc loh.I actually got frozen without gloom on against 2 elite stack on MP5 and survive due to loh from cloud and chain.(they dont have desec or poison though)
The way I play it is just put sentry, strafe and pick up globes to regen hatred.Just phase through mobs to kill them.
Yep.You dont have to use gloom strafing into mobs(my AR is 500).I only pop gloom when Im recuperating for hatred.

Used to have doubts I could farm on MP5 fast (since my dps is 50k only), but this build clears all of them hehe.

Tried the build on MP10 but I cant strafe into mobs without gloom like I did on MP5 even after replacing bat with boar though.
