I have nothing. I'm just speed farming as fast as i can and sometimes i get stuff sometimes i don't..

1st tip (based on my own playing experience):
Speed farm low mp until u r 2-3 xp bar to ding next lvl ... then do high mp act clear runs (i normally do Keeps quest .. kill ghom .. sb .. up to Azmo ... i usually go Skycrown then Sfort for 5nv & kw kill 1st)

Just to show an example. My findings after I posted that Manti's. I can't super guarantee that it will rain legs but it does for me every single run.

I seconded that.. my MF is over 300% (including paragon lvl) , the rares i got are pretty nice, everyday i will be getting at least 2-3 rings or gloves with main attributes + IAS + CC or CHD , sometimes with max AR, such stuffs, although not as pretty as legs, can sell at over 400 K ... its few M for me for nothing..

I kinda find it hard to agree with the MF thing. maybe it works for some ppl but if i'm rolling get this : 2 STAT ON A LEVEL 62 RARE AMULET OR RING really shows how broken MF is and it's happened to me way too many times. Btw, back to the farming legs tip. Ok this is gonna be a weird one, have you guys ever noticed some runs you do are just filled with crazy number of Elites? Well, these are special servers that have a very high density of mobs and elites. The secret is finding these servers. I theorized it based on a blue post made in the forums. He said that there are such thing as higher density servers and with that comes a better chance of dropping legendary. Now, I use Keep 2 as my benchmark. I'll do Keep 2 and finish the whole map to see how many elites there are. What I'm looking for is 4-5 Elites. Best is 5 and I can guarantee you this, you'll be seeing elites on every single map more then you normally do and monster density as well. KILL EVERYTHING coz the white for some reason drops leg. And another thing i can guarantee, you'll see archon drop like you've never seen before. Ok, 2nd theory, now i've tried this as high as mp 7 and my findings, do lower MP. For some reason, if you can 1 shot everything the chance of the leg drop is much bigger. I do mp 2 and that manti, butcher sickle and vile is dropped on that MP. this being discussed in bnet forums as well.. you can do core of arreat if got 3 elites..means its density packed... so far I didn't feel the diff in leg drops following this theory.

yes I believe servers make a difference... sometimes loot drops maybe a lot gloves.. sometimes a lot scrutum. . sometime a lot amulet...

Hmmm.. never tried arreat but sounds legit. Maybe because I've been doing keep 2 and only trust keep 2 but in a way its kind of the same thing. I'll give Arreat a try but yes, it does really make a difference for me that is. Hence why I mentioned I can't guarantee legendary because it still a lottery thing but it works for me as I get a drop or more every single run. Maybe 1 or 2 without any but the number of elite and density of monster is 1 can guarantee for sure. I can relate to my friend who's tried it but agreed that it's raining yellows and elites but based on just 2 runs he didn't get any legs. Still luck based but I think it's better chance at getting legendary.

Anyways regarding the MF & number of affix roll on RARES .. i believe there's a blue post regarding how high MF affect more affix being rolled on RARES (legs hv fixed number of affix so MF doesnt help). I personally did some sampling (i hv to admit its a small sample to be considered concrete proof).. i collected 30 rings+ammys on my speed runs (mp0-1 .. MF cap at 300-325) and did the same on my key runs (mp6-7 .. MF cap 450-475) .. i kept all rings/ammys UNID on 2 seperate tabs in my stash. Once i collected 60 rings/ammy.. i proceed to ID them and compare the result .. 70% of the ring/ammy i found in low mp hv 4 or less affix but those found on higher mp had more than 4 affix (i think almost half of them and 8 had max numbers of affix).

On to the high density servers ... i remember few months back there was this "myth" going around about "loot server" (certain server denoted by end ip range .. can be determined by doing netstat) .. i tried those loot servers and after awhile i gave up lolz .. then a blue post confirms such "loot server" never existed. However i do believe ur theory of elite pack density can increase the chance of leg drops .. thing i noticed is the numbers of elite pack in Core .. most of the time its 2 .. but there's time u can find 3 or even 4 packs in core .. bear in mind Goblin counts as elite as well (maps with lots of gob spawns tend to give me more than 1 leg drop). Another thing of note is .. do u guys ever notice when u spawn at Azmo lair entrance sometimes theres a pack there @ sumtimes a large number of scorpions? when these happen i always make a point to kill Azmo (so far ive got few leg drops on such ocassions). So maybe Core can also be used as a benchmark (since its smaller compared to Keeps 2 n faster to do).

Yeah I believe based on the game guide, MF increases the chance of a player getting a 6 affix item and If you miss that one the item generator will proceed to drop it to the 5 affix and so on but with full MF, getting 2 affix on a rare is downright ridiculous. It's like getting a BLUE! That kinda drives me mad. I've never done the amy/ ring collection but my crazy friends filled up 1 whole tab of unid amy/ rings. He went on a rage when not single rolled decently. lul

I remember reading on the netstat thing and yeah I've tried it. Never worked for me but some ppl claimed that it works. Some guy actually made a huge marathon run and reported his finding based on what he believed as lottery server. Never made a difference for me though but yeah, this theory works for me. Gonna try arreat, much shorter run compared to Keep 2. Btw, I'm going to try that theory and kill Azmo. Worth a shot.

Oh server speculation. Heard about It too.

I won't farm mp 1 anymore. Today onwards is 7 and above. Hopefully smth good. Been dry for days.

ok...here my stingy approach (test water first). found out that I like attck spd compare to dmg. so I will choose to use calamaty...maybe higher MP will switch to manti.

In the past I used to wait 5-10 minutes for my farming partners who believed in "loot servers" to find the right server.

I think you should just spend the time playing the game.

better fix your choice of skills before buying more expensive DML... prefereably IAS 18% or above
for example if you like HA, choose one which has HA, or elemantal arrow.. up to you..
same goes for natalya clock also, nat ring not much

belt and pants go for INNA's set..
pants 8 holy damage and belt 9% IAS.( i had spent 50 M on these two )
pants get <100 dex and >vit or >dex and <vit, i prefer more vit.. (taught by master sifu 2890 )

i am calamity user, but it is more expensive than Manti.. calamity dps 1250 or above...

Temperance with DEX is better once you have enough AR because for a DH, is better to get AR than VIT. That's what i feel.

I use to prefer temperance with VIT but now i'm getting a more DEX one.

If u r getting a DML for farming MP1, a cheap DML with elemental arrow should be the best. Don't have to aim for 20AS or 10 Disc.

my AR is kinda low, so for me is better get AR ... now my dps is 111K unbuffed...need to increase my DEX already... but not much gold left... need to farm... but at least now i can go until MP3 (got three keys when farming... ... ) bonus ,,,

Yeah, get AR but bear in mind AR is very expensive.

yup , AR is pretty expensive. Luckily got one from a successful bid, if i sell that belt i think i can earn 4-5 M ....

I started as a DH I meant if i started barb 1st then maybe i will find it fun but when I started a new barb character, I could only play till plvl 11 coz i found it quite boring as i much prefer the vaulting and kiting that DH does best.
