Just own a JRT, smooth coat, 2 months old...
A very active breed, jump non-stop.

She is like can't focus on one thing, even I wanna train her for simple comman like: NO, but she is like "who cares..." 0.0

She is very thin, and looks tall................
Can't wait to finish her another 2 left vaccine, then I can bring her for jogging. smile.gif

My JRT- Coffee, just came to our house for 10 days. She was toilet trained(as the pet shopper told), but when she came to my house she rarely pee-poo in her toilet, instead she choose to do the biz infront of her toilet.
Then I went back the pet shop, they suggested to tied her in the toilet until she released every time, but my Coffee s real stubborn, she rather to hold it many hours but doesn't want to release in the toilet, until we released her, in 10 minute, I can see shits/ urine in her playing pan.
Like the this morning, after feed her breakfast, I tied her in her toilet just to wait for her to release(so that we can praise her), from 9am till now, 5pm, she has never released even a drop of urine........ I worried her health but if untied her, she will pee-poo around again. We also used wee wee but it doesn't seems very useful.
Other than this, she is very great and smart dog. She knows her name, commmand like no, come and sit, but not to pee-poo at the right place.

Can anyone suggest how?
"bow" thanks !

Dear all JRT lovers,

My Coffee vomit foam today, then we brought it to vet...the result is she diagnosed "Distemper", is a dreadful Decease.

We just bought it for one month, one week after she came to our house, we brought it for 2nd vaccine, 8June is the third vaccine... Wen we bough it, pets hop said she got some pimples on her belly, that's because urine or dirt, as long we apply palm cream, it will be all right.

When she injected 2nd vaccine, vet told us if the pimples on body, that's problem ald. So soon that some days later, "scratch" on her body. We thought she scratched herself but we realize her legs can't reach the wound... Then we suspect those are pimples... At the sametime we realize she breath hardly...

We wanted bring her to vet but that day vet was not open, another reason that we dare not to bring her in and out because she has not complete all vaccines yet. Until today, she vomit foam and she has epilepsy...

Vet said she has only 3 ending,
- epilepsy happen on and off, died one day
- die in this few days
- send for Euthanasia.
:'(

Anyone could give any suggestion on this...?
We just bought her for not even full one month, not bringing her out, only at our house, food and toys all from the pet shop, all washed before give to her.
Vet said she might be infected before she went home with us.
Anyone experienced this, and please tells this is curable. :/

"bow"
thanks

Thanks for your reply Chrislyv.
We bought her to vet and get medicine, and 2 syrup to ease dehydration and seize.
The vet also said no cure, but it is recommended by the pet shop in Aman Suria, we also bought from there.
Now we really don't know what we can do.
And I can only pray and do my very best to cure her...

Pet shop didnt give u any money-back guarantee? Did u send the puppy to see the Vet before / or on the day u brought the puppy home?

Abt 4yrs ago i bought a JRT from a Pet Shop in kepong. I brought him to see the Vet on the 1st day before i bring him home.

Vet checked & found he had heart problems after 2 checkings.

I sent him back to the pet shop and ask for a refund or exchange and they accepted it.

A lot of petshops nowadays get their supply from irresponsible pet mills that is where the problems come.

Anyway, it is sad to know abt ur pup's health problems.  cry.gif

Thansk for ur concern Bluray Movie.
We brought it to vet at the 5th day she came home, nothing was diagnosed.
We didn't tell the pet shop, but the vet did, and the petshop just called and showed their concern, and said they will discuss with boss and discuss what can be done. This is not the we really concern...We bought her because she came into our eye, my bf didn't want replacement, as for me, when I knew the only ending is dead, it's feel like peeling my heart cry.gif ...anyway, we found some cases to prove this is actually curable. We will to give up.

Now I worried IF she was infected in the pets shop, what happen to the others puppies there? Somemore. Distemper virus will stay in the place for 8 months. God bless.... smile.gif

We have no choice but to put her to sleep.
She was seizuring non-stop, until can't control her pee-poo, and no strength to get up.
She's finally left.
T-T
