It's never too late to start training your dog. Of course, it may be more challenging as he may have picked up some habits which are hard to break. Any activity (training included) that promotes quality time with your dog is always a good thing. And he may even make some new friends. cool2.gif

Be firm with ur JRT. When reprimanding/ correcting, say no and mean it. If he is the more stubborn/ hardier type of dog, follow up with a gentle rap on his jaw with your knuckles. However, a growing pup will always be on the lookout for something to chew on, so best to keep the chewable items (eg. newspaper, shoes) out of his reach. This means you will hv to provide alternative safer items for him to chew eg. chew bones, kongs, balls and tough toys.

2 mth old pup will go to toilet every hour or after he drinks. Only way to toilet train is spend 2-3 full days with him and bringing him to the designated place every hour or when he appears to be ready to go. Praise when he does it at the designated place. Only then will he learn the right toilet area. if you dog is already peeing all over the house, then you have your work cut out for you. But if you (including family members) are patient and consistent, he will learn within a couple of weeks. Good luck! thumbup.gif

Training schools - best to go around, look see and check out the different training schools for yourself to find the one that suits u and ur dog's needs.

Should I wack my boy mouth or butt when he is doing something wrong?
He is extremly stubborn =/
No matter how many times u say no even push his head away from chewing the bloody paper/newspaper..he will do the same thing right after ur hand leave his head =.='' Unless you wack him and say no in angry manner.
He pee quite often, like 15 mins gap sometimes. Normal?
Planing to send him to OB training at Ampang there. Is this recomended? I read the front 15 pages and saw lots of activities, but those are 2006 post
