Yes. ON have the highest  protein to weight ratio and more bang for bucks compare to others...

been using it for years.
i got mine at cheaper compare to market price.

cost per serving

lowest price in market = RM 185
servings = 80
proteins per serving = 24g
80/185= 2.3
your paying RM 2.3 per serving

Added on August 23, 2012, 10:50 amone of the reason why, supplement maker used more concentrated compare to isolate or hydro because of delivery system of the proteins  itself.

hydro being the fastest being absorb, then isolate and right after that will be concentrate.

doesn't mean when protein maker use more concentrate the quality of the protein is low. its all depend on how is your training like,
and when the time you want to consume the protein.

having isolate/hydro right after intense training will be the right time to consume, And if you take it b4 sleep or as a snack will be totally useless.
and what you get is just a expansive sh*t.

ON Whey is one of the highest, but definitely not the highest
Myofusion is 35-36g/serving. But only will last for 50 servings.

24x80=1920g
35x50= 1750g

But Myofusion is cheaper, RM155 for 5lbs which gives 50 servings. So you do the math..

ON whey is not the best bang,

Different story if you can find ON Whey with RM160.

Bro, i think u understand it wrongly.....

Myofusion probiotic 5lbs=58 serving
1 serving = 39gram of powder = in 39gram of powder you get 24gram of protein or 61% are proteins while the rest 39 % are carbs, fat etc....

ON 5lbs 100%whey 5lb= 80 serving
1 serving=30gram of powder = 24gram of protein or 80% protein content. the rest 20% are carbs/fat

so do the math again.

ON 100% whey = 24X80 =1920gram of protein
gaspari myofusion =24X58 = 1392 gram of protein

Gaspari per serving is RM 2.67
ON per serving is RM 2.31

another thing thats on my mind is,is the nutrition fact is for whey only or are the other ingredients included.

by logic its not, because if a whey concentrate (80% protein) if you add the other ingredients(flavoring + swetener eg meltodextrin) wouldn't the protein content by weight be lower????

think about it, if you wanted to banchuh a milo susu, how much milo, milk powder and sugar would you put in the mix.

lets make an assumption
lets say the the other ingredients by weight is 20% of total weight
per serving = 24g
now minus 20% 24(0.8)= 19.2g
if so dont you per serving cost more

is there logic to this????
what do you guys think?????

I don't mind buying tasteless protein shake because what I want from that whey is the protein, BCAA, glutamin, casein etc2 (the important stuff) and flavor would be the last priority. If you can make it cheap (ie RM 1.50 for 25g protein), there would be a lot of market on it.

good for you to brings up this matter bro ibrahim, please have a look at the picture attached.

base on the info given by the label.
usualy a serving size of 30 gram of whey protein powder you will get roughly around 24gram of pure protein, or 80% from the weight content, but it will vary from the make.
your calculation above is base on protein itself, while it should be from the whole serving.

as you can see, 1 serving is 30gram powder.
from 30gram, you will get roughly 24gram of pure protein.
1gram of fat
3gram of carbs
and another 2 gram of filler.

bro, whole egg got 5-6gram of protein.
so if you eat 5 egg per serving, you will get about 25gram of protein and it only cost you around RM1.50 per serve.

consuming 15-20 eggs daily should do the trick for body building... but i`m sure not many people can eat telur for daily basis for more than 1 week..

Why on earth are you guys comparing ON Whey with Myofusion? Myofusion is a protein blend which means it has less WPIs compared to ON Whey.

A better comparison would be to compare ON Whey with Dymatize Whey.

I have taken flavorless whey before, used to buy it from a member of the forum, 4Rings. It tastes like a mixture of diluted milk with water... so it doesn't taste like plain water. It drink it for the function, not for the taste, so its fine by me.

Rather buy whey concentrate/isolate and a casein and use them at specific times rather than a protein blend. But now I'm just using normal whey protein, and for supper I mostly eat chicken and eggs for slower digestion.

If only consider the price per serving. I think Dymatize Elite Whey Isolate is cheaper.

For gourmet vanilla, berry blast flavor, a 10lbs having 146+ serving (24g protein, 1.5g fats, 2g carbs every serving) , the price we can get here is around RM280. So, 280/146 = RM1.92 per serving
