QUOTE(ooikl @ Aug 30 2012, 10:38 AM) i am on digi with gnex, the speed fulfill my needs and user pattern (mostly in email, whats app, very light web surf) in my daily activities area at penang. same here. most important is real Tollfree offer from DiGi that I use a lot on 1 800. hopefully other telco also offer free.... |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Aug 30 2012, 10:51 AM) 1 GB is sufficient I'd say Do read the fine print - dont be mislead by just RM499 - we discussed this issue at length yesterday ; do check back the posts Digi speed is around 700-800 kbps versus say Maxis 2000 kbps - 8000 kpbps ( 3 to 10 X faster ) . Data charge for maxis is comparatively cheaper than even Digi. I'd said yesterday Digi i used to pay RM 68 ( 3 GB ) while now on Maxis RM75 ( 3.5 GB). If your internet usage mainly on email, whatsapp,fb - i'd say even Digi slow speeds is good enough. You will see major difference when surfing, reading newsfeed QUOTE(iceman31 @ Aug 30 2012, 10:54 AM) im maxis user and i got rm88 for 5gb. its overkill i tell you. if u aint watching youtube or anything and hog on wifi in house. the most you can reach monthly is 1gb. Agreed. 1GB data plan is really already sufficient for mobile usage. unless you do heavy Tethering with PC, torrent.. |

QUOTE(kabusribut @ Aug 30 2012, 11:10 PM) I still got problems with calendar. Other thing such as contact, gmail and browser can sync properly. But calendar still nothing. beside google account in setting, double check calendar app, setting, tap your gmail account, make sure sync is check.QUOTE(Tsukishiro @ Aug 31 2012, 10:45 AM) What kind of backup app would you recommend on unrooted nexus? I need to upgrade to jellybean to see the awesomeness!! unrooted device may try AppMonster for app only; if you need to backup included app's data/setting, must root & titanium backup is the best of the best tool always. Thanks ins advance. |

QUOTE(springfall @ Aug 31 2012, 11:46 AM) nah, we're talking about those invisible to battery usage stuff. I do install better battery stats. I know for mine. Beside gmail, my other less important email app I don't set auto push, quit LINE. other things like Smart Stay, so far not really drain much but still monitoring. not using pgm.unless u install better battery stats, i dun think u can trace out pgm or prox sensor stuff.. they do eat alot of battery but itz worth it |

QUOTE(droid13579 @ Aug 31 2012, 01:05 PM) I'm not looking for phone as remote to control all other samsung devices(washing machine, air conditional, smart tv, etc) or sharing the media out from phone to allshare device via network; that's what I know for allshare. will be great if tv remote control can transmit via tv hdmi to phone, to control phone without connect additional wireless keyboard and mouse. I guess only sony have this features, samsung don't have? This post has been edited by djlah: Aug 31 2012, 02:06 PM |

QUOTE(MoZuFi93 @ Aug 31 2012, 11:12 PM) Want to ask, do you guys buy a case for your Gnexs? It seems that the phone is much beautiful without it, as my imak case makes it rather fat, and it doesn't seem much of a black monolith after putting it on.. Opinions? QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Aug 31 2012, 11:15 PM) You arh? No, I'm not.Yes!!! Definitely agree that GNex is soooo sexy without a case. But... Most of us here got a case on it. I goes for the simplest TPU case. RM10 nia nia Added on September 1, 2012, 8:20 am QUOTE(MoZuFi93 @ Sep 1 2012, 01:59 AM) Hah, I'm just afraid that it might get scratch or something.. Or it get crushed under my enourmous arse, LOL if don't want to apply casing but afraid get scratch, may consider full body transparent film protection like sp or carbon fiber.Added on September 1, 2012, 2:00 am Waaa... Kinda slim and cool looking, where did you buy it, and how much???? This post has been edited by djlah: Sep 1 2012, 08:20 AM |

QUOTE(Dannyl @ Sep 1 2012, 08:32 AM) please tell me overall performance and smoothness are equal to other normal rom or up to project butter now?theme chooser for CM/AOKP really very limited choice. I really missed MIUI themes, last time every bi-weekly different themes, download, apply, download, apply, download, apply, download, apply, mix and match like boss... |

QUOTE(mikeeeee @ Sep 1 2012, 11:11 PM) I still continue using Galaxy Nexus LED app mainly because it's show multiple different color LED control while in different charging state; it's more user friendly UI also + it's come with soft nightly mode LED on specific night time interval control. QUOTE(Dannyl @ Sep 2 2012, 08:45 AM) No lag thanks for sharing. looks already much much more improvement since beginning of MIUI v4 on gnex. will be nice to switch back MIUI once laggy lockscreen to appear bug resolve Lockscreen itself is not laggy but sometimes take almost 1 second to appear. SMS custom ringtone no problems. Yay more MIUI users. Let's discuss. Bugs: - if you swipe away something from your notification, whatever remains may not re-position themselves. Eg. I have 2 notifications, Gmail new mail and Onavo. If I swipe the new mail away, Onavo may not move upwards. Close and re-open the notification area will fix this. Or use the 'clear all' button. - no GPS issues for me. - slight lag for lockscreen to appear. - not all default icons are XHDPI reso (eg. Play Store) - Whatsapp notification cannot find my local sound files - Whatsapp no notification in bar (need to test more) |
