I just love to see Joe Allen! Win the ball, marking opposition midfielder, great little pass, really worth signing..

Yes, thats the best signings under BR that have played, Borini, as usual, played like an also ran, nothing special...Infact Shelvey played much better

still have once last chance, the players have to be registered by 11pm UK time, so we might still have some late late Official news

but the chance is very little............. sad.gif

Loan out Carroll and no new strikers?

Wat if Suarez is injured , can we recall Andy Carroll back? like the case of recallling Shelvey when Lucas was injured

We can beat Arsenal.

Have Faith.

Borini must prove his worth tonite, so is Sahin.

Allen just do your usual trade so is Shelvey.

Sterling, keep on moving, you are damn good.

Downing is begining to look good at Leftback and as Overlapping Leftback.

Gerrard most do some good long shots again.

Pepe must be more careful.

BR pls play Coates, Carra is too slow.

If we play well like we did last year apart from the finishing, we can come out on top.

They beat us last year with 2 assisst from Song, finished by RVP. both players have now moved to scumster utd and Barca.

QUOTE(Cloud0890 @ Sep 3 2012, 04:52 PM)
But a summer window which brought in three young, but significantly talented starters in Joe Allen, Nuri Sahin and Fabio Borini as well as two exciting young potential stars of the future - Samed Yesil and Oussama Assaidi - could hardly be deemed a failure as we build for the future.

In Brendan Rodgers we have a talented young manager and we have valued highly his judgement about the make-up of the squad. This is a work in progress. It will take time for Brendan to instill his philosophy into the squad and build exactly what he needs for the long term.

We have been successful in improving the commercial side of the club and the monies generated going forward will give us greater spending power in the coming years.

We are still in the process of reversing the errors of previous regimes. It will not happen overnight. It has been compounded by our own mistakes in a difficult first two years of ownership. It has been a harsh education, but make no mistake, the club is healthier today than when we took over.

Spending is not merely about buying talent. Our ambitions do not lie in cementing a mid-table place with expensive, short-term quick fixes that will only contribute for a couple of years.

There will be short-term setbacks from time to time, but we believe we have the right people in place to bring more glory to Anfield.

Lots of good points there. Some fans are just too quick to turn their back of managers and owners. rclxms.gif

John is talking kok, If they can afford another 1Mil, Dempsey could have scored 3 goals and won us the match.

Moreover Dempsey is from the US too, John's countryman. Br is really disappointed with the loss of Dempsey too.
