We have to move forward. No point reminiscing our past failures.

Signing a player has always been a gamble and ultimately it's the manager's responsibility to mold them into the team. Houllier and Benitez had their fair share of good and bad signings, but at least they had silverware to show to compensate for their poor signings.

The culmination of our poor transfer market dealings reached its apex last season with the signing of Henderson, Carroll, Downing and Adam. To add salt to injury, this failure has hinder our new American owners to splurge more cash in buying players. They are so cautious with transfer dealings that they are not end up coughing up extra dough to get the players. Yes, not even 1mil.

Unfortunately for the new boss, BR..he came in at the wrong time where our owners are now in play-safe mode to inject more cash to back him up.

The only way for him to recover the confidence of the board again is to start winning with the squad he has now and make the most of of his players.
