If reliability is of concern then get intel! Easily RMA-ed at any pc shops.

I got 2x256gb crucial m4 for sale at rm570 each (can quote me on this) US unit tho

Ooh this thread is soooo tempting, after reading many many posts from you all.. I decided to buy intel 330 180GB very soon,
Going to do fresh install as many of you recommended, but jz wondering, is there anyone tried cloning windows from hdd to ssd then install again windows in ssd, this method will make windows optimise itself for ssd onot? Hahaha

Always good to do a fresh install. While I admit reinstalling/updating all the softwares is a PITA! tongue.gif

I was just guessing sweat.gif well i never oc'ed intel cpu before. CPU degraded probably means it no longer can maintain stability at the specific voltage, you may need to increase more voltage to make it stable again.
i'd recommend you to play a couple of game/IBT/stress test to see whether if your pc still crash.
faulty psu and ram also can make pc unstable too.

go to "Run" and type eventvwr.msc, you will find the system log under windows logs.

I wouldn't be surprised if they won't produce a 120GB or 180GB editions of the 335 for the near future. The write endurance of the 20nm is pretty low, making it harder to provide 3 years of warranty for these products. There is some new research that should fix the lifespan issue once and for all, but it might not be ready in time for the 335.

Plz phase out those lower capacity ones!! 256gb and above only plz!

I open 2 threads here in Hardware and Technical. But I couldnt find any solution, most people just ask to change mobo. So i tried contacting Asus and Plextor. After a week Asus never even replied, but Plextor EU replied within an hour and patiently guided/inquired regarding my problem, they then uploaded a revised version of the firmware as an update to the 1.03, for the M5Pro 128gb.

So.... Way to go Plextor support!  notworthy.gif

Plextor no local support?
