Have had my OCZ Vertex 4 128gb for a week now on SATA II. Can't wait to upgrade to Ivy Bridge and use SATA III

QUOTE(rc2x @ Aug 31 2012, 06:11 PM) So sad I'm using LGA 775. My 1TB also has sata 3 but I can't use.Added on September 1, 2012, 3:15 pm QUOTE(tot31 @ Sep 1 2012, 07:39 AM) I bought it from ebay -> http://www.ebay.com/itm/150839174303?ssPag...984.m1497.l2649. Performance wise it's ok, you won't get full 6GB/s speed on add on cards. Max will like be 5GB/s at least better than my SATA 2 3GB/s. I just got an AsRock one but I realized my PCI Express 1x isn't version 2.0 This post has been edited by secondrate: Sep 1 2012, 03:15 PM |

I am planning to get an SSD for my Asus laptop. I'm currently using Vertex 4 for my desktop but that was a birthday gift and I'm not planning to get another one after seeing the price for 128gb.
Will the Intel 330 120gb or Kingston V+200 120gb suffice? Or should I spend more for the Crucial M4? |
