I'm currently using Agility 3 60GB Planning to upgrade, but wonder which solution better
a: Get another Agility 3 60GB and go RAID0 b: Sell my 60GB, and get a Vertex 4 128GB
Which is faster in this case?
Thanks in advance

QUOTE(SSJBen @ Sep 18 2012, 12:37 AM) That's pretty fine. If you are paranoid, get a laptop cooler perhaps. The RAID0 with another Agility 3 will be faster in this case, much faster in fact. But if you aren't going to use it for the applications that utilizes that much sequential speed, then I'd suggest you don't bother at all. More over, you only have 60GB of space... and most applications that needs the speed requires a much larger amount of space. And finally, no — you aren't going to feel much of a difference in normal usage between RAID0 and the Vertex 4. So you suggest just to get a vertex 4?

QUOTE(SSJBen @ Sep 19 2012, 03:50 PM) If you need the extra SSD space, then yes... get the Vertex 4. No point RAID0 on a 60GB drive IMO. Extra speed will be 1st priority Added on September 19, 2012, 8:28 pmQUOTE(jchue73 @ Sep 19 2012, 04:35 PM) If he decides to get a new Vertex 4, what does he do with his existing 60GB drive? Sell it for sure Added on September 19, 2012, 8:30 pmAny idea about Accelerator SSD? http://www.corsair.com/en/ssd/accelerator-...ache-drive.htmlWorth buying? QUOTE(storm88 @ Sep 20 2012, 11:48 AM) there is no Samsung distributor in SG means anything happen you have to taopao urself or pay him to send back to US I think Singapore might be able to fix it, but hopefully it will be durable.
