I've used Corsair Force GT, Crucial M4, Intel 330, OCZ Vertex 2 and Agility 3 SSDs in the past (and present).
Compared to them, the Samsung 830 proved to me it is the fastest drive of them all but that only matters when I'm doing real-time video recording and recording.

This is where I save a huge video file (usually .tp/.ts mpeg-2, which could go up to 15GB for a 1 hour clip), and the Samsung 830 proved to be the snappiest.

So yes, to me at least personally.. it is the best SSD I've used so far.

I would say Samsung 830 will be a slight faster or you can't feel the difference between them. If you are dealing with big chunks of file then go for the fastest SSD but if you're using it for normal boot drive and open up applications, in real world environment any SSD won't make a difference.

If you count 2 seconds being a difference then yeah... I guess that's the difference, in terms of boot up speed.

Setting a script to open all my most used programs when Windows start — Chrome, PS6, Sony Vegas 11, StaxRip, Steam and loading the usual drivers — my Samsung 830 > Agilty 3 by roughly 3~4 seconds, give or take.

For games load time, I can't test that as my Agility 3 is only 60GB in size and it's already touching 50GB in space used. So no space for installing games there and compare it with the 830. But I reckon, the difference wouldn't be any more than 2 seconds either way.
