changed it vinod macha. when i had the car, i also found out strong wind noise coming from the driver side window. found out it was the glass lining rubber rosak liao. replaced it and the wind noise reduced but still got some coming in due to there is small gap at the curve part. dont know how to solve it.

I know that engine mounting is easy wear & tear part for kenari. But im not sure how long it can last because i bought my used kenari from dealer & they already installed with new mounting & drive shaft.

Wanted to get some info from Kenari/Kelisa owner as technically both car are identical (different only on size & design).

I am 2008 Kenari Aerosport Auto owner. My car already clock almost 200k mileage. No major problem so far but I can feel that performance/handling significantly drop maybe due to high mileage.

So my question is what recommended service/part, I should consider to improve car performance?

My Planing
1. Engine overhaul (Pls advise cost)
2. Change timing, aircond & alternator (100k)

Please advise other thing I should consider to service or change part?

new wheels arent expensive though. you can get them around for about 400-500 a set depending on where u buy from. you may consider to visit tyre shops in klang to buy them.

I just done service my car last Saturday with new engine oil (Eneos 10W-30), oil additive, oil filter, air filter and spark plug that cost me a total RM160.

The second day, i check the engine oil level and found out it is extra about 1cm from the F level. I called the shop and asked, he told me it is ok.

when i start my car yesterday morning and saw lots of white smoke exhausted. Send back to the same workshop, and they said is due to engine oil over float and clean free for me.

Same case happen this morning and now my car is returned to the same workshop. Third part people checked my car and found out that nothing is wrong.

Do anyone have the same problem like mine?
Or i have a bad mouth that saying my car never have white smoke, and it happen two days after saying that. TT

Did anyone here change their kenari engine either kenari-kenari ori engine or to k3ve/k3vet?  I would like to check on the price/issue/how for each options. 

My old kenari engine not so good already (makan air/minyak hitam) due to overheat (water pump leaking)+low engine oil before.  Thinking either change/ continue repair my car.  My kenari only can sell ~7k to 2nd hand car shop.

Hope can get advice from you guys.

It is good to remain stock. Reliability and durability are there for our rides. Only a/c sometimes in de afternoon, not enough power... lately is damn hot during a hot sunny day...

I am  facing engine running not smooth when on air cond , like engine want to die off together with vibration when on idle. But if off the aircond. engine no vibration and engine running smmothly.  I have changed the all 4 engine original mounting and also just service the car. I have also done the aircond service 1 month ago.
Kindly advise any possiblility to cause this vibration because I worry half way the engine die off. Thank you

Piston rings a bit worn, or valve seal problem. But burning a little is ok as long as u top up once a while. Later only deal with piston n valve seal.

Hi guys, would like to seek your advise on to overhaul or engine swap 

Last year just bought a kenari with 160k milleage on it... i somewhat overlook the engine part and only to came back to discover the engine had built up quite an amount of sludge in it.. when i pull out the dip stick.. the sludge is chunky and like kinda solid..  did my regular oil change but the sludge remains inside.

with a bit of budget now, i'm not sure to go for a full overhaul or for an engine swap.. (most should have recommended a yrv engine swap.. damn poison! ) However i do not know which choice is more practical and cost effective, as i would like to have this car running for at least another 5 more years.

Please advice

i guess overhaul would be my option as like you say swapping engine would require a total reword on every aspect of the car and i'm doing it with a budget of more or less 2.5k inclusion of changing new engine mount.

in term of about 2k.. assuming engine mount would cost about 500 or so, would the internal parts that is subject to change include those major parts like piston, crankshaft, etc etc?
