Tried it, didnt work..hehe.
The HR Rep (i think she's the director... not sure) just reiterated the whole 'wait 2years b4 reapplying' thing. o well, it was worth a try. bye bye shell.
I'm guessing this is the 1st interview. I dont know if its going to be the same for you but 4 me as an engineering bachelor student at the time, my 1st interview was split into 3 parts:
1. they get to know you - ur background, wat type of person u r, travel restrictions, wat post u want in shell.
2. they ask about your achievements - they dont ask about academic at all. they ask a lot abt ur leadership qualities, problem solving skills and communication skills.
3. they test your ability to think - ur given a topic for u to talk about and they listen to c how broad-minded u are. they'll ask questions based on ur answers.
part 3 is probably the most important. when answering, try to be as broad-minded as possible.
there is an 8 point guide as to how to answer the question broad-mindedly but the interviewer will probably catch u out if u learnt it from sum1 else. shell HR will always reject candidates who show signs of being coached so the best thing 4 u to do is just be honest and answer everything urself.
hope that helps. good luck
