Don't worry...the f2f interview is very easy...at least mine was...just speak from experience and you will pass...

If you pass, we might meet at SRD...too bad I can't make it for the 1st session...maybe joining the 2nd session...

Seriously??? LOL this is unexpected. Best of luck to both of us then.  biggrin.gif Are you going to drive? The briefing package keeps stressing that alternate transportation method is recommended. Makes me thinking twice on whether should I take public or not  hmm.gif

The methodology is being changed, there's a new method and recruitment format being used in the SRD. Please refrain from discussing the materials as they are confidential in the first place.

Is that really you in your picture? Lol...

A typical example of self-serving bias. It has become a habit for most people to point their fingers at someone else and whine for their failures, instead of doing some self-reflection and think about what you should and could do better.

Anyway, best of luck if your interview result is not released yet. But bear in mind that race is never a factor to excel in any competitive environment. Capability is.

Very well said. rclxms.gif

How's the job-hunting going?

I do think giving out advice to the others candidates is appropriate and could really help, I just don't think it need to be "100 % details" telling them every single detail for the process.

Yes, I love sharing with people, just not to spoon feed people, I do provide advice from what I think would be helpful during the recruitment. Don't get me wrong that I'm too selfish to share, I believe u been to SRD, u should know actually there is nothing much we can tell the others, because most of the question are quite standard , which is "your answer lead to the other question". Thats is why I told the others to "remember what you did best in the past and be the person who you are"
Because they did ask ur past achievement and they assess from how u response to each situation given, and this, no one can help.

I totally agree with what you just said. Sharing is different from spoon feeding. A lot of the candidates here are not being resourceful enough. Many tips have already been given and mentioned in this thread. If you have the initiative, you could just go through 10 to 20 pages of past threads, instead of posting the same questions over and over again.

You have already highlighted the two very key factors - "remember what you did best in the past and be the person who you are" (re-quoting what you have just said. hehe)

Hi all, first time posting here after lurking around for so long.
Am in the same position with fredurst, passed srd early September but has yet to receive any offer.

So i have been following up with my recruiter twice before (in a span of 2 weeks), unfortunately there hasn't been any reply till date.
Should i continue following up? Thanks for the advice!

First of all, congratulations on passing your SRD.

Yes, you should. Sometimes, it takes a while for the recruiter to identify you a position. You should be aware that it is already almost end of the year, so some of the vacancies have already been filled. Thus, what the recruiter might do is he/she will circulate a list of graduates that have passed the SRD to the bosses/managers of each department and see whether they are interested to take in anymore graduates. As you most probably know, these managers are extremely busy and it might take some time for them to come back with a response.

So, just be patient, do regular follow-up with the recruiter and hey, why worry, you have already passed the SRD! biggrin.gif
