Hi, crawled thru the post and ought to share my application experience here:

I'm currently working in Singapore,

Online assessment 1: 30 March (was busy so delayed until 3rd of Apr to do it)
Online assessment 2: 4 April
no news after that (I kinda forgotten about it).. then I received an email from shell again and told me this:
"we are sorry to inform you that at present we only have IT related vacancies which could match your degree profile, would you be interested?"

and listed several roles + descriptions for me.. was too busy to reply them at that time and then I received the F2F interview notice on Apr 29
F2F interview - Apr 30

Since I was in Singapore, they scheduled a telephone interview for me and asked me to attend on the very second day =.=

Started to do some research on F2F interviews and alot of people was talking about the final stage of F2F they will throw out 4 options of open topic discussions.
But for my case it didn't happen, I had like 8~10 questions asked:
all were like this:
Tell me a time when you....
Tell me a time when you have to...
Tell me a time when you faced a problem...
Tell me a time how you reacted in a situation...
bla bla bla..
in the end they asked me why I wanted to join Shell.

was easier than I expected, you don't really need to prepare for this, just be genuinely honest with your experience

Yesterday night I received my SRD invitation. But didn't tell me the date time:
At the moment we are dealing with a high number of applications, and therefore you may experience a delay in receiving a date and time for your final assessment

Nope, nothing to pause about as the stuff they are asking wasn't a question that needs to analyze or calculate. In my opinion it's good to give examples that how you excelled in a team environment, and based on each of your experience they will ask you what kind of difficulties you have faced.

My Interview call lasted for 40 minutes only..

Just got informed that SRD would be on 3rd & 4th of June, the coordinator told me that I must attend both days and 3rd June is pre-SRD briefing that starts on 3pm? anyone had the same thing and can anyone tell me what is this about?

Thanks Just read the briefing pack and got the same info
So there's only approximately 6 ppl in one SRD session? (mentioned in the pack)

I'm not sure where will my SRD be as the coordinator asked me to confirm if I can make it for those 2 days (since I'm currently working in SG), I told them I can confirm those dates and now still waiting for their arrangements of flight & hotel (They asked me not to book myself). But most likely the place of my SRD should be in Cyberjaya.

btw, I'm from an IT background. They offered me several non-graduate roles, and told me to go through the SRD process as usual. So I guess i'm actually not interviewing for an Engineering Graduate position.

You said that they told you approximately how much was the salary? I should've ask that question as well as I have several issues to be concerned to decide whether or not I should leave singapore. mind to email me? (hengkhai@gmail.com) Thanks.

Maybe it's because of your job nature that is why you're in Miri. Mine is confirmed 3rd and 4th June in Cyberjaya Wisma Shell.
Still waiting for them to help me book my flight and accommodation.

Yeah my flight and hotel has been arranged by them already. After you get your briefing pack you really got read it from page 1 til the end. Within the pack includes how you get your travel arrangements done by Shell as well, you have to send your information to CWT (all guided in the pack).

Good luck in your SRD bro, I'm still preparing all I can for my SRD on 4th June
