Just go in the SRD with an open mind. I believe that there may already be a pre-SRD briefing done/scheduled?

QUOTE(quackers @ Apr 25 2011, 09:21 PM)
is it an invitation only or anyone can walk in?
I tried registering at their website but not eligible.
*
The SRD programme is not walk-in basis. It is after prospective candidates are screened and shortlisted, will be called to attend the SRD.

The SRD is for fresh graduates to people with less than 3 years working experience.

Could you please explain why you're not eligible?

hi . with 3 years experience you can apply to a particular position at shell website directly as a professional.. no need for srd or gourami... wink.gif
*
That is correct. Above 3 years qualifies you to apply via the Experienced Professional category. Currently, Malaysia is not taking in participants for Gourami.

Those who are selected will be invited to a pre-SRD briefing the day before. You will be briefed on the processes and schedule for the SRD itself.

There's not really a single answer which is right or wrong. Shell is looking for dynamic people to take up the challenge. The main thing is that you are recommend to be yourself on the day and have fun !!!

YES!

If you are a Shell Staff. you should know better than refer to the assessors as "Mat Salleh" not very D & I are you now?

Noted that Shell's salary scale for graduates are the highest in Malaysia. They pay the best to get the best. It's simple as that.

The whole recruitment process is geared towards providing the best to all the candidates. Just be yourself and have fun!

Guys, don't speculate the salary range. It does not help with the expectations of any of these candidates.

EPF is actually tagged at 12%, it's with an additional 4% for DCS = 16% employer contribution. It does max out at 19%.

Grads come in under the Shell Recruitment Day option to qualify under the Grad or G scheme. To qualify as a grad you must have between 0 - 3 years working experience.

Above that you are considered to be hired under the eXperienced Professionals hire process.

You can be hired into Shell one of 3 ways , Third Party Contractor, Short Term / Fixed Term Contract & Staff (Rarest!!!)

The methodology is being changed, there's a new method and recruitment format being used in the SRD. Please refrain from discussing the materials as they are confidential in the first place.

Hey,

My case is the same as yours. Last month I went to the Postgradasia fair in KLCC and met the HR. I asked her why I didn't receive any response and explained that Shell was having a new recruitment system. Maybe the names are dropped out. So now she said there will be no more phone interview. She asked me to reapply online and do the assessment.

Havent done mine since I heard a lot of people saying it's hard this time around. Well maybe you can reapply too smile.gif

Mind sharing the name of the agent of Shell? and which company they're from?

Hi everyone just want to ask.. May I know where is Shell House Kuala Lumpur?

I got an interview there on friday morning. Any tips on how to approach the interview or going to that place?
*
Didn't the coordinator furnish you with the map on attending the interview? Who was the one who made the arrangement?

It's jafnm_04 said, next to clearwater residences. You'd be able to find it on google maps.

Shell is a big name in Oil and Gas.. but the building is not quite impressive.. haha. the recruitment office also, not quite impressive. haha. but the salary is impressive.. so because of that reason.. I choose Shell

use this line when you had your interview later.
*
Tell that when you see the new building in sentral. If that's the reason you're only attracted in shell... because of the salary, you've got a long way to go buddy.
