QUOTE(simplicity1224 @ Apr 19 2013, 03:51 PM) Just try your best to answer as many as you can. If you are not sure, pick the one you think most accurate first and move on to the next question. yeahh.. mine too. able to answer only 7-8 questions only. the rest 'hentam-hentam'. luckily i've been selected to come for the f2f interview If there is time left, go back to that question and do your analysis again and change the answer if you think necessary. I had to answer 16 questions in 18mins...and that's how I did mine. (don know how many questions I got it right, LOL) Don worry, just try to do your best. If not mistaken, there are people who did not finish answering and still made it to initial interview |

QUOTE(simplicity1224 @ Apr 4 2013, 06:49 PM) The interview session was very relaxing and the interviewer was really friendly! A lot of follow-up questions so it's pretty an on-going conversation. Hi simplicity, are you sure that the current format for the f2f interviews excluded Part 3 ( Questions on current issues)?Everything went well (I hope so) except that I was late 45mins due to a massive jam caused by accidents. I stayed at Cheras Hartamas area and I came out earlier around 6.45am but I reached at 8.50am Really my bad day! Explained to the interviewer already and she said she understands (hopefully she really understand). Proceed at 9am and ended exactly 9.45am. The next time slot was supposed to be 9.30am but had to be postponed 15min later. Came back around 10.30 - 11am and the same highway (lebuhraya cheras-kajang and lebuhraya timur-barat) STILL jam...butt to butt Guess it's not my luck to get SHELL. If I am to be rejected, I know the main reason behind it already... Anyway, lesson learnt! Prepare to go at least maybe 2 hours earlier! if yes, it is a relief to me. there will be a lot of things to read .. |

QUOTE(MUFTW @ Jun 14 2013, 11:05 PM) for your question agreed! 1. No, its NOT, SRD come after this , provided u pass this interview 2. No, basically they will ask something based on your past experience. speak from what you DID. 3. those stage u mention could only happen in SRD, which u should be less worry now, the interview session last around an hours. just one session basically the interview is like a discussion of your past experience, so no one can help except yourself actually. Revise on wat you did in past, could be academic , non-academic related , or Job Anyway , good luck !! |

QUOTE(rawrkun @ Jun 23 2013, 08:12 PM) been 12 days since I attended the face to face interview at shell house... still no news yet... probably I'm not wanted... sigh QUOTE(chocpanda @ Jun 24 2013, 10:31 AM) Is it normal for scheduling coordinator in not replying email? I emailed the scheduling coordinator in asking the result of my interview around two weeks ago. Not sure if she didn't receive my email or it is normal for them not to reply such email as there are high volume of applications. QUOTE(chocpanda @ Jun 24 2013, 04:10 PM) i went to f2f interview on 13 june, already passed 2 weeks. emailed the coordinator asking bout my result, no reply from her. haha...so since our friend waited 7 weeks for his result, maybe i should hold my patient longer lah kot.. QUOTE(ggbggb @ Aug 22 2013, 12:57 PM) Hi guys, just want to share my experience with Shell. From application to SRD, to offer. Thank you for your useful sharings Timeline: - Application - Online tests (7 days to complete upon application) - F2F interview (2 months after online tests) - SRD email (2 months after F2F interview) - SRD feedback (1 day after SRD) - Offer (5 weeks after SRD) The whole application process is long. My advice is to work simultaneously while going through it all. To be honest, when they emailed me my SRD dates, I almost forgot about the whole thing. I did not chase or follow-up much. I shall go straight to the last stage (SRD). I'll let you experience the tests and F2F interview yourself. Although other people may have different strategies for the SRD, I will share with you mine. 1) I thought Shell, as an energy company, is serious on innovation and sustainability. Try to research and build your answers on these two themes. 2) Have a stand during group exercise, interviews and case studies. And be confident with your stand. Do something like: "I think we should go with this and why." Sometimes they will throw in different scenarios based on your answer, like: what if something changes, or something big happens, will your stand change? 3) In some activities, you are very hard pressed for time and you have a thick stack of information to digest. I organised my thoughts using SWOT analysis (strength, weakness, opportunities, threats). It gave me a clearer picture of my stand/decisions, at least I could see my plan's weaknesses and I will know where the interviewers will target (and that's where you should mount your defense). 4) There are no right or wrong answers. As I have said, you need to keep a stand and be confident with it. Don't give conflicting ideas. Their questions are targeted on your previous answers. Good luck. I just wanna ask, when did your SRD taken of? recently or long time ago? thanks againn |

Already got the email from HR to book the date for my SRD. However, after clicking that link and book myself, I still didn't get the confirmation email and briefing pack that should be sent automatically after I click the 'submit' button during the date-booking process.
Huhu, already waited long enough for this SRD.. Now, nak booking ada masalah pulak.. sedihhhhh. How's you all punya experience when setting the date for your SRD eh? The hr staff already called me that my SRD will be on this 19/9/2013. But i need to confirm it through the link that they've sent to me via email.. |
