well it all depends i guess..well i was quite happy with the pay scale they gave.. i was actually looking at something like in the market price for starters.. but i guess shell is fair in giving their employee the pay..well i am very furtunate that i manage to complete my master in project management and got the job...hahaha that is also based on my health report later..other than that i am happy shell rewards us based on our capabilities and not just the market price

I got a call recently from them about 2 weeks ago asking me whether I was still working and whether interested in a project manager job.

I said yes and the lady said she will call me back again regarding the SRD. Until now there is still no callback.

How long does it usually take for them to call you back and set a date for the SRD?
*
i reckon you should call them and confirm.. they are conducting SRD almost everyweek.. in around malaysia..depends on the venue of job...

i know SRD is conducted in KL, Bintulu and Miri... it would be better if you can contact the person who called u up and enquire about the offer.. do not take things for granted.. life is not free nor is it easy...work for it..

Dont sweat it bro... within 3 years from your grad year, you can still apply to join Shell... if not you have many other options of OnG company around.. plus some of them offer better pay and benefit... i read in another thread that Petronas is offering their grad RM 3500 dunno how true, it seems that people in the other tread says it is true

the 4 topics... is it general topics..

aku haibar.. you just need to relax and be honest.. well shell wouldnt ask you any technical questions..just general knowledge question and some on your experience in uni life and so on. they want to assess you CAR.. to see whether you have got what it takes to be a SHELL people.. well what i did was be myself.. most of the information are true.. there is no scientist mind breaking question asked.. just simple question. let be frank.. ok.. dont add in too much goreng.. later hangus.. this people are like food critique... they know when you hangus a food.. so be honest with them. SHELL is an organization where they work on honestly.. so all the best

Miri. The Piasau Camp House 100. Medical I sent by courier and upon reception its approved in a day. Then the excruciating wait for your work permit approval (if you send it together with your medical). My friend and I got ours in 3-4 weeks but they advise us a processing period of 4-6 weeks. After that, you can quit your day job.  rclxms.gif

Yup working elsewhere first while waiting the call is best. Same with me I waited 6 months before the SRD call came. Plus the work permit application total is 10 months from when I sent my resume to actually report in for work.
*
wah you really had to wait that long for the SRD and the work permit... really kao lat man... it only take me 2 weeks for my SRD once i passed my interview.. and 1 month to report to work.. and i start this monday.. i still dont know where am i staying temporary for this first month.. plus CNY.. hope i can make it home for CNY
