QUOTE(mamet @ Mar 31 2009, 02:26 PM) i do not think Kubica was fighting for second place at all, he was fighting for the first place. and IMHO he could and should be able to at least give Jensen a run during the final few lapsbut then again, after watching the replay it's pretty close call to be honest. if only Kubica being patiend a little bit more. but hey, sometime you learned more in a defeat rather than winning. let's just hope it'll do the team good in the longer run |

QUOTE(iiam @ Apr 5 2009, 08:08 PM) i read from other forum, if the nx hearing conclude tat the diffuser is illegal, the diffuser 3 will still keep their points but from nx race onwards they cannot use that design anymore. The forumer supported his arguement with 1 good example... Ferrari illegal floor design. They still kept the points but not allow to use it on the following race. This post has been edited by cristiano7mu: Apr 5 2009, 08:33 PM |

Its official. Gosh, why quit ???
With 1 victory under their belt over 3 years, the Hinwil based team (BMW Sauber) has just confirm their exit on Formula 1. They will leave at the end of the season. BMW Motorsport Director Mario Theissen says: “Of course, we, the employees in Hinwil and Munich, would all have liked to continue this ambitious campaign and show that this season was just a hiccup following three successful years. But I can understand why this decision was made from a corporate perspective. We will now focus sharply on the remaining races and demonstrate our fighting spirit and put in a good result as we bid farewell to Formula One racing.” Sources: EngineLounge This post has been edited by caseyliew: Jul 29 2009, 05:41 PM |

Not much profits from F1 maybe. With the current season only 8 points from 10 GP. They find they need not to advertise their cars anymore in F1 as even a 6-years old child would know BMW. So no profit from them, quiting is the only option.
